Caution to anyone having issues with the data in this section,15:15 , just make sure you toggle the f4 until you get $B$1&$A4, notice you shouldnt anchor it to $A$4 thats a separate command. Took me three days to figure this out hope this trims your time

For some darn reasons I can’t make the COT report as you can see that he made the video and explained the non-commercials and didn’t make a complete tutorial to add Commercials as well. Wondering if anyone would sell their completed sheet and I can do the weekly updates manually.

So i followed the steps carefully, but when I get to around 16:16 in the video and after, it is not showing all of the values in each row, they are all the same as the first row. Secondly the values being shown are not in the same order as the ones in the info chart. Like, my first row for Gold for example is the same values as the last row in my info chart on gold. Not the first row as it should be. it should basically be mirroring the info chart but instead it is starting with the last rows values on gold first.

Trading in the FX markets for over 12 years, I am really struggling to understand on how to digest and use this information. I feel the information is lagging and it provides zero value. It's a fact that by the time the report is released, all the positions have been executed into the market. You may argue it's a good way of look at what the commercials on non commercials are doing but again, all this information is reflected on the candle charts. Even if it's long term or short term, it's all on the candle charts so therefore I am confused. What am I missing? Or am I right that the COT provides zero value hence most traders don't know about this tool?

Great work but why don't you have the Commercial section as we all know that when the commercials get to previous peaks and bottoms, the markets reverse and non-commercials follow. I rather have that as well and would be great if you can show on how to add that as well. Thanks.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Make sure your anchors are correct, and that your auto calculation is turned on, hit F9 to see if it changes the information

@UCguMWHx-vQOhxyKGtDjxDcg when you select EUR, it compares it to USD, (EUR/USD). If you select JPY it compares it to USD/JPY. Selecting only USD will give you USD. If you want to look at GBP/JPY, you need to look at GBP and then JPY. Hope it makes sense

​ @FX Rhapsody If I figured it out correctly - CME AUD, NZD, EUR futures and so on... all of these positions are related directly to the USD, USD INDEX - ICE FUTURES U.S. itself to DXY? So it's always nominator (chosen whatever I want from COT) to denominator (USD) as sentiment indicator? So... indirectly usage for not interlinked pairs like AUD/JPY will be not so useful in case that correlation coefficient doesn't exists? Thanks in advance for reply! 🥰
