Half way through the video and it is making me excited for spring/summer conditions again. It has been a proper slog this winter and nice to see some non-winter golf being played :)

The nights are starting to get shorter! I've not lifted a club for a few months but the urge is growing now and I'm starting to keep more of an eye on the weather, just in case. We'll get there soon enough - let's just hope we don't get too much more rain like last year. 🤞

A great example of how to "swing your swing". For all money I wouldn't have thought having that big a slice would enable you to score well. But with such great compression with most of your irons/hybrids and tempo, it works. Although, I do worry about you slipping over in those shoes as you reach for the ball each time with driver!

What a great comment - made me laugh out loud!! 🤣 I've noticed over a winter of editing how, as the year has progressed, I've stood further and further away. I really must work on my address and takeaway before heading out this year. I do overbalance now and again and it's become obvious as to why 🤦♂️ Still can't complain too much - I've scored really well on the whole but I'm much more into enjoying sampling the courses than over analysing my swing.

Another great vlog, shame about the double and triple on the front nine otherwise that was a very good score on a wet course, got to say you've found some really lovely courses on your journeys over the past year this being another one, stunning views. Looking forward to your vlogs for 2025 👍

Thank you! It was one I'd really been looking forward to playing and it didn't disappoint. Bad holes happen but I managed to keep going despite that mid-round wobble. I'm sure the lovely views helped me forget about those bad holes 😄

This is my favourite course. You played it well. I'm surprised your ball stayed in play with the 3 wood on 14. The 13th green can be a swine when it is dry. I think I heard Tracy, the owner on the 18th. 😂 A really welcoming course.

I can see why you have a soft spot for it, it's a great mix of nines with some really challenging holes there. Lovely members and staff too. Had several lovely chats on my way round which resulted in me calling a few groups though! I was amazed I found (both) drives on 17 more so than on 14. And the tee shots on 13 & 15 were rather jammy too. Certainly rode my luck in a few places but paid the penalty on those two front 9 holes. I can see what you mean about the 13th green as well, tremendous borrow and slope. Get yourself back there soon and enjoy it again ❤👍

Tracy isn’t the owner. Neil and Rich the brothers are.

@brianmayers4721 I stand corrected. She does a great brunch for Gloucester foursomes B team league matches. Shame my club won't be taking part this year.

Great video, Cotswold Edge is a great course, really different front and back nines and superb value for money. Annoyed that I'm only 20 mins away yet only played it 3 times, definitely need to rectify that this year.

Thank you! I really enjoyed it here, it's hard not too with so much character to the course. Like you mention, a really different feel to both nines. You must keep that promise to yourself to get back and experience it again!!

Played this course many times CJ. Good value for money. Enjoy watching you play courses close to me(Bristol). It would be good to know what yardage you have and what club you use. Think you said in another video, that you have`nt got a handicap, think it would be quite low. Excellent...

It's a win - win! Entertaining course with great views and good value green fees. What's not to love?! I do put the club I use in the graphic top right but don't do yardages as I always estimate them (not using GPS). I must try to remember to talk to the camera off shot this year about what my distance guestimate is and add it. Yes correct on the handicap! Last official one was 11 but that was 30 years ago and I was playing under it back then. I was only a country member and couldn't play much. I probably haven't submitted a card since I was a teenager!

Great video 👌 course looks good , played it few times now . Not bad condition for two full time green keepers and a part time person. Shame the bottom gets so wet most of the year. But great views makes up for it 👍👍

Thank you! Yes it's a cracker of a course, really love the different feel to the two halves. Greenstaff have done a brilliant job there - it really shows when you go round 🥰

Cheers! 👍 I film it using my phone mounted on a tripod and then edit using Adobe software (that's the bit that takes ages!). Nice to make a good memory of a super course though 😊

CJ what handicap do you play off mate?
@CJsGolf7 сағат бұрын
Nothing official although I think of it around 10. I played a lot last year so was probably playing under that but it's more about enjoying the courses than the score for me 😊
