Unkind people have to live with themselves. Kind people figure out how to work past them and keep creating a better world. Your world is beautiful and I appreciate that you share it with us.

Strong women are not valued as much as they should be in this world. Women’s work is not valued. You only have to look at how governments treat older single women who after a lifetime of contributions may have fallen on hard times. If we lose our footing, if we stumble….well we get left behind because we are seen as inconsequential. More power to strong women who get on with it anyway, recognised or not. Continued strength and blessings to you, Collette. 🌿💚

I love your wee chats and musings on life, Mother Earth or anything. They so often mirror my own thoughts and feelings. Kindred spirits I feel. For sure zero tolerance is the way to deal with naysayers and negative comments. That's the ego mind at work for sure. Delete the comment and send a loving thought back by way of return. I always feel that closes that connection in a positive karmic way. Nice to see inside the cottage too for a bit. Your home has such a lovely energy about it. At least That's what I sense when I'm having a virtual visit. So love this channel - and it is a channel in the truest sense - a connection. Much love and blessings to you and Jack 💓xx

Your soul matches my grandma Alice, she also grew trees, plants, foods off all varieties and lived in her hogan weaving sheep wool rugs to support herself. She raised the sheep and lived happily alone on a desert on the Navajo reservation. She made all kinds of herbals to help heal the sick and she sang to her plants, it was magical as if the earth loved her it grew everything for her beautifully. She lived til she was 105, in her home, I miss her very much. You remind me of her, thank you for sharing your life with us all over the world. Love and much blessings to you!!! What a sweet thing to do, Colette! Very few people here in the Midwest US who have cars or newer cars will ever offer anyone a ride - I even offered to pay people's gas, buy them a meal, whatever when my old car wasn't working. But most would say no, even if it was to somewhere they were going. Ireland, or you, sounds a little kinder.

When one makes a soulful connection with trees, one can never go back. 🌳
@nadinemasteller10893 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. We have 6 trees on our small property. Our neighbors don't like them because of the leaves they lose and the acorns and other seeds they drop. They have expressed a desire for us to remove them. It's never going to happen in our lifetime. Yes the leaves make for work. Live Oak leaves do not break down and compost easily. They take a very long time, so we can't compost and reuse all of them. We have to collect those we can't use and have the city take them to their compost site. But, our trees provide wonderful shade during our hot Florida long summers. It makes a big difference in our electric bills because our air conditioning doesn't have to work so hard as it would without the shade. The trees provide homes for wildlife and the nuts and seeds provide food. When we look at satellite views of our neighborhood, our property is easily picked out because of the trees. So many properties around us are treeless with lawns that are expensive to upkeep and require feeding and spraying for bugs. In other words, poison. We plant flowers and have minimal lawn that we don't treat or water. Our wildlife here in FL is struggling as it is. They need a safe haven. Our trees and flowers provide that in our small pocket. More people need to nurture nature. I've gone on too long as it is, but it is one of my big concerns.
