Hello there! I just downloaded this modpack and I'm OBSESSED so in search for other ppl playing I just stumbled across your channel! I’m playing the “light” version of this modpack: Cottage Witch Recast. The full version crashes for me while launching (having an outdated integrated CPU + GPU in an 8gb ram laptop will do that), and a lot of the newer modpacks that aren’t light and are built post 1.16 tend to crash when launching. I simply I wanted to see what I’m “missing” out on with the lighter version, per se, and there’s quite a few LPs out there. This one looked to be the most interesting!

Oooh what's the light version like? The version I'm playing can be a little intensive PC wise so I can understand the need for a lighter version - I love that one is available because it really is a lovely modpack!! I hope you enjoy the LP!! ✨💜

@@faithfulfamiliarsThe biggest differences I’ve seen from just this episode is there being far more structures in the world, as well as Caupona (which the fig trees are from) and Prefabs being in the main pack. They don’t exist in the light version of the pack, yet Create still does, which is… weird. Create does not add much to the light pack; tbh I think it bloats the light version since Create has a lot of ore and such. I adore building; not automating, and I’ve been contemplating removing some mods for my own enjoyment and a lighter load on my system. There’s also a lot of server-related mods like proximity voice chat and chunk reserving that are in the light pack that I feel should be only included when downloading the server version from Forge. It’s great that the pack author thought about multiplayer for both versions (and I’m so thankful that a lighter version was made for people with systems like mine!), but I feel those mods should only be for server install. They’re just taking up space and resources for those playing solo.

@@niyomii0 unfortunately I'm not too savvy when it comes to the tech! 😅 BUT when I initially tried to play cottage witch my pc struggled, and it worked a lot better when I upgraded my RAM - I know that's not fab advice but I hope it helps! 💜
