Cottesmore Hunt Scurry 2023 - Blue

Beautiful Bluey, trying her heart out for me and always ALWAYS doing her best to keep us safe. Love you Blue ♥️
A beautiful course today but lots of whoopsies happening in front of us and horses down at hedges meant we had to cut out part of the course.
She didn't faulter once and gave me the most amazing feeling; so nice to be on a horse I can pull up if there's chaos at a fence so we don't add to it (unlike a certain little cob I know!!!!)
Her first time doing this after we fell at the Silver Spur in 2018 (which was our first hunt race!) and we had a lovely skip round, this was a last-minute entry to get our eye in for the Harborough at the end of March so very pleased with how it went!
I've learnt so much from hunt racing my Flashy and it's amazing to put it into practice on Blue. For so many years we were either novices together and if anything she was more in the know than me, for me to now be able to keep her safe it's a blessing. Priority always will be her, always.
