La equina de Quintana le interesa poco la salud del boxeador, pidiendo otro round aunque se muera , solo por orgullo , dame un brake, un hombre que ya estaba acabado .

That's my situation. I'm left handed but stand in the orthodox position. It feels natural though and the reason it does for Cotto and De la Hoya is because they kick a football with their right foot like I do, so there rear foot is their power foot which ultimately determines the stance in which a boxer stands in.

Erick Macias, Cotto and DLHs problems were not from fighting faster guys. Left handed orthodox fighters always struggle with southpaws since their money punch against a southpaw is the straight right. Cottos money punch was his left hook along with DLH, so it's a lot harder to land that against a southpaw fighter and their right hands weren't good enough to do damage against a southpaw. Cotto got rocked against Corley, and got beating by Trout + Pacquiao. He looked one handed vs Trout. Pacquiao also demolished Barrera and DLH (both are left handed). Cotto and DLH both gave Floyd a hell of a fight though. I'd say Cotto probably gave Floyd one of his toughest fights, and Floyd is a "fast guy". So no. Cotto, DLH, and all the other left handed orthodox fighters problems stems from fighting southpaws. It's awkward enough for an Orthodox fighter, but even more awkard for an orthodox fighter who's left handed / relies a lot on their lead hand to do damage.

Naturally left handed fighters should fight from a southpaw stance; using your stronger hand in the front leaves you a one handed fighter, your power shots from the back foot too slow and weak, forcing you to rely on your jab/hook too much. Oscar de la Hoya and Miguel Cotto used that formula, boxed well, but got destroyed by faster guys who can hit with both hands.

Cotto punches well with both hands but his power comes from his left hand. Never was Cotto a "one-handed" boxer! lol Cotto's left hooks aren't weak! have you even watched any of Cotto's Fights?? Cotto knocked down and out alot of his opponents with his right as well as his left. GTFO!
