I have this same cotton candy machine and here’s a trick to make it fluffier: put the stick thingy over the machine horizontally and spin it. Make sure you go fast or else it will melt. I mean, you would go to a carnival and see them spin it vertically, but it doesn’t work at home that well.

I also have a cotton candy machine but the tip is to keep it on for like 5 minutes to warm it up after that add sugar or candy and use the twirled part of the stick and move it fast in the same direction so it will not melt and have a better and cloudy texture.

Haha I have the exact same one, I forgot it originally came with the plastic cones though. I’d recommend trying jolly ranchers, also personally, I use chopsticks to spin the candy because the cone was too big and it was deflating the cotton candy. I’ve also made it with regular sugar + a couple drops of some fruit extract!!

Hi! Cotton candy spinner here. I have 2 tips. You can either put the stick in down low as possible to get a strong base and so it won’t flop over (like mine usually do), or you can let if gather up and then put it in, pull it back out, and let it attract! May just work for my job’s machine though, since it’s pretty big. 😂

*try holding the cone in the center over the metal part and twirling the cotton candy onto the cone that way.. I was doing the swirl around the inside thingy too and it wouldn't become fluffy for me either. I guess youre just supposed to hold it in place in the middle (over top where you put the hard candies) and just turn the cone in your hand! Makes it much bigger n fluffier!! Hope this helps!!*
