I don't think I know any men with 12 pairs of underwear. At the same time I totally get what she's saying since I do change underwear multiple times per day if I get really sweaty. But my solution has alwways been to launder my clothes. Hotels have laundry services, and then there are laundromats, etc.

to be fair yeah if i do a hiking trip for like 5 days i have 2 hiking undies you can easily refresh them by hanging them for a night if they are of the right fabric - and a switch for every day - so i guess 7 plus if you get into rain - or if you spill your drinks soooo around 9 - so i guess i also double up
