My son actually talked me into watching this kids KZbin channel one time and surprisingly I love it. He is living the childhood that all young men in America need to live. He keeps kids interested in the outdoors and also shares the Bible with them. Great work!

Kids don't aim the barrel of your gun towards another person no matter what. I'm sure Kendall knows this but he did it a lot on the video. Just treat a gun like it's always loaded and as if it can go off at any time. Many people have died because of this, you don't want to kill your family member or best friend. At 2:15 when he's loading his gun, its pointed right at the guy the whole time. The chance of it going off is slim but no reason to take that chance ever. Also guys when you are walking with your weapon either have it pointed at the ground or shouldered towards the sky. Whoever he was hunting with had their gun parallel with the ground, if it got snagged on clothing and fired, it would be pointed right at people. Okay I'm done ranting, stay safe and remember hunter safety. There is a reason it's mandatory in most states.
@desertrainfrog16916 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I agree. Obviously when the barrel was open so you could see through it like a hollow pipe there was zero danger, but once he put a shell in and closed it, it was pointed at the guy whilst loaded and closed ready to go. That was the bad part
@PropurtysChannel6 жыл бұрын
@@desertrainfrog1691 Yea I mostly said that because of the younger audience, it's best practice to just always treat a gun like its loaded. Especially for kids.
@desertrainfrog16916 жыл бұрын
@@PropurtysChannel I agree for sure. I'm only 15, I practice proper safety when I do shoot. I usually only use a pellet rifle since it's all I need for target practice and small game. Always checking the safety and making sure it's pointed away from anyone though, definitely don't want to get hit with a .22 pellet going 800 fps.
@PropurtysChannel6 жыл бұрын
@@desertrainfrog1691 Awesome, good on you for going out and hunting while also being smart about it. I'm 21 but even at my age I see people just taking chances they shouldn't, better safe than sorry, not like its any less fun.

Supposed to use old pine it smells very sweet and is a great fire starter Keyword starter... don’t use pine for your entire fire... oak is better for fire once it is started and don’t put it in the fire use that metal netting and some sticks to hold the meat ABOVE the fire and let it smoke. It takes a WHILE But is way more tender... flip the meat more as well u cooked one side for most the time. Love the vids tho keep it up (LIKE SO KENDAL CAN SEE AND MAYBE LEARN HOW TO COOK!)

pine burns hot and fast i dont know what wood u have up there but look for hardwood start with small wood then get bigger and bigger wood as the fire gets bigger and dont wait till its almost dead stock it up when its going good with better stuff and wait till the ires hotter before u start cooking

Use pine and little stuff to start fire. For cooking you need hot coals. Use oak, hickory or mesquite to cook. It takes a bit to roast meat on a fire. Gotta keep it turning as well. Too bad you don’t live closer to Texas.

Survival tip: the dryer and the more dead the wood, the easier it will burn. BUT it will also burn a lot faster thus providing less fire and less heat.
@kalebnixon79236 жыл бұрын
Very dry and dead wood would be best used as a fire starter along with some leaves then get some twigs and work your way up to the bigger stuff. You want it to be dry but not too dry.
