John was one of Jesus’ original twelve disciples and even amongst the twelve, he was one of the closest to Jesus and knew Him very well. In this message, Pastor Harrison introduces how John reveals different attributes and characteristics about “The Word”- who is in fact, Jesus. He shares that Jesus is not just a good man or teacher, but that He is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. The same invitation that John gave back then is relevant today as Jesus is the Savior to all that will receive Him.

All scripture is God breathed and people were the vessel for which God spoke to leave a message to us. And God spoke in parables from beginning to the end all throughout the whole entire bible through chosen people, prophets as God said in Hosea 12:10 "I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions (prophecies) and told parables (figurative language) through them." We of course must know the context to when a parable is used.
