Please don't pray for the dead Ian ...no offence intended but its against everything Pastor McConnell stood for.

I never knew the man but thought he was a great Christian and inspiration during the troubles to everyone ...not being a Christian myself I was saddened at the loss of this man who had to stand up against the fat pig Nolan who nearly destroyed him .... very confused how my few words are so offensive??? Totally baffled?? . Regardless.... , I thought he was a true man of integrity no matter what you may think.
@williammcknight98673 жыл бұрын
Ian I agree with every word you say, but its wrong to write RIP ...this is a prayer for the dead, something Pastor McConnell would disagree with. There is no need to pray for him, he is in heaven for evermore. I apologise if I have offended you in any way.

@@williammcknight9867 if he is indeed in heaven then tell me, why does he have to rise again to meet The Lord in the air to once again be taken up to heaven? The hope for the believer is in the resurrection.
@williammcknight98672 жыл бұрын
@@reidy9045 His soul is in heaven ...when Christ returns the rapture will then take place. The bodies of the saints will rise from the grave to be reunited with their soul in a new glorious eternal body like unto Christ's body and will forever be with the Lord. Then the living saved people will be also raptured to meet the Lord in the air . Read 1st Thessalonians Ch.4 verses 16 and 17.

I had to smile when he said 'caught on' which is such a Belfast idiom! Don't know if Americans would get it 😆
