I am a beginner dj, and I have the ddj sx controller. I am still learning how to scratch, but is it just me, or is the ddj sx terrible for scratching? I don't know if I just totally suck at scratching, or the controller is not able to be scratched on. I already know the jog wheels are too tight to get a good backspin, so, ravine, would you recommend buying a Cdj unit and having it input to one of the four mixer channels on the sx, or buying a turntable like the reloop rp-8000 that has USB connectivity and can directly control serato dk's functions?
