One of my first anime I ever watched. It will always have a special place for me. I know people like to criticize dub but I think it did pretty well. I like coming back to it sometimes. Takes me back to simpler times.

I almost forgot the amazing soundtrack by Yuki Kajiura (better known for SAO). The track for the climactic moment when Cou and Ren break the spell is called "Disappointment", but it's used so beautifully there. The dub's voice acting is remarkably good for its time. That means they got a really good translator, cast, and director for the extremely limited budget they likely had at the time.

Erementar Gerad is the japanese version of this show that is what its originally called Elemental Gelade is the english version which it would be called in dub so either or would be the name of the show lots of japanese shows when u say in english it is different title thats just how it is

No, the Japanese use a special R sound for L sounds. So it's the same name in both versions, just pronounced differently.
