Which can also be explained by the fact that someone just kicked his door down and shoved a camera in his face. We know nothing about his personality. He could be an introvert / shy - or just doesn’t know how to react while being filmed on camera. He could have also been afraid that his gf would take things the wrong way so the brief awkwardness is him making sure it doesn’t come off wrong. Which hilariously is what ended up happening anyways with everyone micro-analyzing. I think most men can relate to having times where you are overly cautious so to not be taken the wrong way. That doesn’t make you guilty. With how overly sensitive people are today you have to make sure you arent taken out of context or let others make assumptions about you.

I think it's dumb for people to immediately jump to the conclusion that the guy is cheating, but I think he was behaving a bit oddly. Sure, you don't need to jump up and down in an extremely over-the-top manner to demonstrate when you're happy/excited, but the dude looked slightly annoyed and/or had almost zero reaction to his gf surprising him. His body language was SUPER closed-off as though she was a stranger. I think it's more likely that 1.) He doesn't like the long-distance thing, was "feeling out" other girls, and felt slightly guilty when his gf showed up out of the blue, and 2.) He's simply not that into his gf anymore and will possibly be breaking up with her soon. We all know that (sh*tty) guys will be completely fine staying in a one-sided relationship until someone "better" comes along, all while the gf thinks everything is perfectly fine in the relationship.

I'll be real, hes probably not doing anything but knows how awkward it looks that hes chilling with girls. If hes just moved into uni hes probably seeing how far he can be with other girls before its cheating (as in being in the presence of girls). Another point is with relationships you like your own time, i don't particularly like surprises and its even more awkward when that surprise impeeds on my chill time. It happens and I've been through it.
