Aloha, Ladies! Don’t know what rock I’ve been living under these last years you existed. But, I’m glad I came across your older videos tonight. And just in time to hear your new stuff you all working on. I grew up loving just about every genre of music. But, stuff like THE VENTURES worked its amazing style of music into my soul as a kid from my days of listening to my granddad’s old 78rpm’s. And, of course, kick azz women bands like THE GO-GO’s were bad azz! Surfajettes reminds me of all those great sounds rolled up into your own smooth sound. Very stoked to know there are still artists wanting to keep alive the “lesser” know. music genres and that they also very good entertainers. Always love their show clothing. I enjoyed hearing the theme. As a composer myself, I was particularly intrigued by the second half of your phrase where you unexpectedly went down a half step instead of a whole step like in the first phrase. It gives the tune a kind of eerie feel to it. Nicely done. Enjoyed the video clip. Keep up the good work.

Shermy you really should do a 50's pin-up shoot with Spike. The pictures would be fantastic. You'd be a great pin-up girl Nicole, You should do a shoot with Spike also but no 50's pin-up for you. That song, Couch Surfing sounds infinitely better live here than the recording we've been hearing, just more bite. Played by the group I think it might be as good as Undercover Secretary So the Damoff/Freeman compositions I've heard are now: Magic Pineapple, Cha Cha Heels, Undercover Secretary, Mrs Moto, Party Line, Hale'iwa Hustle, Couch Surfing and one as yet unidentified. Any details of the of the LP would be very interesting to hear.

Fabulous! I got my T shirt about 6 months ago. Awesome story: I live in Santa Cruz, in California, USA. I had my Surfrajettes shirt on in a grocery store last month. This lovely older lady stalks me down by the produce aisle, and asks me if I know about the 'band on my shirt'. I said something along the lines of: " Of course! My favorite band ever!" "I'm in the Shermy and Nicole fan club" or something similar. I was trying to be flippant... This woman slows her roll, looks at me and says to the effect: 'They've a fan club?' "Oh yeah, and it is fabulous" 'I'll have to look into that'. That's it, nothing more. I thought it fabulous and cringey!

That was fun!!! New subscriber here... Ive been little down because of mother nature and this put me in a summery feel good mood..lol... I dont know how it is in the rest of the world ,but in the mid west US , mother nature has become bi-polar.. We stopped using clocks here morning is winter time , 11-2 pm is spring ,2-5 pm summer . 5-9 is fall and 9 till morning we are back to winter..
