I've been at this for less than a week, and I'm already so impressed with Natalie's teaching skills. My shoulders, arms, and back are pleasantly sore every day. This is the kind of teaching that really, really works well for me: steady, slow, incremental, and encouraging. And her careful descriptions of motions and forms are most appreciated. Thank you, Natalie, for putting this series together!

Day 4 complete! As someone who has always struggled with upper body strength (and core strength), I appreciate how gradual the progressions in each of these videos are. I am so curious if I will be able to do a handstand at the end of this because it is something I’ve always admired but thought that it would be physically impossible for me. Feeling much more encouraged now!

Well done and welcome on board. I am sure that you will be able to hold a few seconds with the wall at the end of the month.

Love that diamond shape shoulder movement, I can literally see my shoulder blade moving, also like to do it in the middle of reading or work in front of desk, feels great. My wrists are now much stronger than before I make your instruction a daily practice. Thank you, Natalie.

Fabulous! The shoulder exercises are indeed good to do when you have been sitting a lot to straighten the spine and get your circulation going! Glad you like it!

Just did day 4! Feeling a bit nervous, I can’t squat that well so not sure if I’m getting the most out of the weight bearing exercise. But I’m committed to trusting the process!
@NatalieReckert4 жыл бұрын
Hello and good work for making it until day 4 :) if you find the mobility exercises challenging you can always bend the legs either more or less depending on what you do and in the squats in can really help to have Yoga blocks or another eleveation to prop your hands up onto.

Hi Dan, I am happy to hear that you progressed to day four! You will get used to the endurance holds as you do them more.

@natalie reckert When you are doing the weight exercise and putting more weight onto your hands, are the inner parts of your elbow joints, where the fold is, supposed to be facing straight in alignment with your wrists and fingers? or kind of inwards in alignment with your thumbs?
@NatalieReckert Жыл бұрын
This will be slightly different depending on each person's anatomy. For me the insides of the elbow face front if I straighten my arms all the way. For some people they will face each other. Try to straighten the elbows all the way as bent arms are the most likely case for the handstand to fail.

Continued: for many months I feel that I'm 90 to 95 % there, but just can't get that steady hold each time I kick up. Sure against a wall I can stay forever but without wall many overbalances occur. Is the secret between day4 and 30??
@NatalieReckert3 жыл бұрын
This course is more for beginners. It sounds like you are already more advanced. Have a look at my kick-up video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZjGg2Bsra-pd9k And also at my how to balance without the wall video in the Vimeo library: vimeo.com/ondemand/handstandlibrary You need to practice sets of continuous kick-ups where you again and again try to fight for balance. Eventually it will happen.

hello i m super excited waiting for what comes next each day. thank you so so much dear. when the navel is pushed towards the spine i always feel it looks like ). " my spine is curved" and i believe it should rather look like l. and that is upsetting me
@NatalieReckert4 жыл бұрын
Hiya, try pulling the navel in a bit less and think more of just gently pulling the whole front of the stomach back. Thank you for following and let me know how it goes :)
