Theres a lot to be learned from this game, it actually surprised me. The basic line of reasoning, hypotheticals. What makes it so interesting is it’s not really about math, rather your deduction and critical thinking. Ofc you can look up what patterns grant what moves but if you were to learn by yourself the gratification is much more substantial.

my roommate used to work at a library in indiana and there was a guy who would come in once a week and play minesweeper for HOURS at a time. once a week for like 6-7 hours. according to him the rounds would take like 3-4 minutes and he would just sit, no food no water ONLY minesweeper
