I said it before and I'll say it again, your joy and wonder at experiences is awesome. We were in Alaska last Sept but you bring the first-time wonder flooding back in. For places I haven't been it makes me want to go even more. Never lose that, you are inspirational in remembering that it's ok to have that wow factor as an adult like we did as children. I can picture you dancing in the rain when the mood strikes. If you do, Keep doing it. We need to remember it's perfectly fine to act like a child sometimes. Stay safe and be blessed. I believe the hat color is Fushia. My son had a Mohawk that color in high school. Can't miss you lol Fun fact about the Red Onion Saloon, women own it. The men are the "paid" workers. lol

On Princess we did an excursions from the ship that was only the train. You just walked off the ship, onto the train, and then the train went up to Canada, crossed over and then without stopped came right back. It was perfect. Then I could walk about the town before returning to the ship.

Great vlog as always! Many thanks for sharing, but I did chuckle when you said you hadn’t eaten all day before the doughboy - what about the chocolate cookie? That looked pretty delicious, thanks again for sharing

Hahaha, I totally forgot about the cookie. That’s so funny. In my defense, that cookie was kind of tiny 😉 It was oh so yummy. Thanks so much for following along on the adventure

After recently finding Ben and David’s vlogs, I came across you, Stef. You have me hooked on your travels 🤗 I have never been in a cruise but that may change next year….whoop whoop 😂 My sister-in-law in Boca Raton is celebrating a special birthday and she wants the family to join her on a cruise. I am SO excited 🤗 My husband and I live in South Africa and it will be my first visit to America, but how special to get to fulfill 2 dreams! You are a beautiful, soul and I have (through your vlogs) watched you slowly transform after losing your beloved Sean. I have cried with you, laughed with you and gone through so many emotions. You are fulfilling dreams you both had and your special angel must be bursting with pride that you are continuing on with your adventures. I cannot wait to see more from you. ❤❤❤

Celebrating so many things. Hope you have a wonderful time. Enjoy every minute. Thank you for all your kind words and thanks for the love and support. Means the world to me ❤️

Thank you for sharing. When I saw your video and the one from Ben and David I realize that I had to go back to Alaska and especially to Skagway. We were there last year in May and didn’t do the train ( it only rode a small part then) and didn’t eat the dough thing or drink the rendeer fart. So we had to go back. We had a great excursion with gold panning, hugging the puppies and seeing the sled dogs pulling the sled. And learning about the gold rush. It was fun, but I do want to go on that train.

Marjorie Glacier is my favorite - soooo pretty! I’m so glad you got to go on this trip, and that you got to do it with good friends. Fred Flintstone style…LOL. I can’t wait to take my grandsons on the White Pass next summer!!

Majorie was soooo pretty. I am so happy we had nice weather. The blue from the glacier was unbelievable. Hahaha, gotta have that coffee for all these long Alaska days. YAYYYY for taking your grandsons on the White Pass. That will be amazing!

Stef, always a pleasure to vicariously travel with you. The snow reflecting off the snow intensifies the rays significantly causing the warmth factor. I too live in Florida but lived in California snow country for 15 years. You are amazing and your enthusiasm is contagious!

that dude that weighed your gold said you had 1.3 grains of gold and said it was worth 17.00. It is actually worth 5 dollars. I bring it up because I did that exact same excursion a few years ago and also did not have a clue of how to gold pan and did the same thing while we were there and liked cookies more than the gold . years later (present day) I do a vacation channel as well as a gold hunting channel(groovygoldhunter) and even though I did that excursion, It was a bag of pay dirt I bought on Amazon that gave me the "gold fever" and I have doing it since, so I love that you showed the same place I went to a while ago and and had the same reaction as I did when I was there. Great video!

We were at Hubbard Glacier in 2017. There were all kinds of "little" icebergs in the strait. We thought they were small until we saw one with a black dot moving towards it. Thought it was a seal until we looked at it with binoculars. It was a man in a kayak. OMG! That "little" iceberg was probably 70 feet tall.

Stef, I liked your grey hat but I LOVE your new pink hat. I like David's hat too. I'm going to Alaska in Sept and I won't be going to Skagway but it's good to know that I will need lotion. I live in Winter Garden Florida and I was assuming that I would need to pack extra lotion. I grew up in NY state and I definitely got dry in the winter. Love your vlog, keep it up girl!

I loved this episode! You had so much more snow on the train than we did in early June of 2022. Sad that we somehow missed getting Doughboy thing or a Reindeer Fart while in Skagway. Something to look forward on a future trip.

I’ve never been to Glacier Bay but I’ve been to Hubbard Glacier twice. The calving there was pretty nonstop. It was rarely more than 2-3 minutes between calving episodes. Mostly small “calves” but significant ones, too.

We went through the ship and it was a package with the white pass railway. I did a quick google search for “gold panning Skagway” and the very 1st one through Alaska Shore Tours was the place that we went. Have a great time on your cruise!
