Sir Isaac Neuton rolling in his grave from the stupidity of this question… gravity exists no matter on earth or in space

Gravity is only a law. Every law can be bent or broken. Sure enough, cats and spiders don't obey properly.

If the planet splits in two then we can see the inside! Also we can fight over who should own the best part of the planet.

Guff, consider it whimsy. Not that this particular situation is possible, but scientists have been driven by whimsical questions for a long time. What if we could actually combine these two metals to make a stronger one? What if we tried to sail around the globe? What if we could create a machine that would let us fly? What if we could actually build a nuclear reactor? What if we could actually go up into space, walk in space, send ships to other planets, put machines on other planets? At the time, those have all been thought of as unattainable, whimsical questions. Whimsical curiosity has been the catalyst behind so much of what we know and have accomplished. Silly pondering questions like the one featured in this video don’t hurt anyone, (except for you, apparently), but they do showcase what we do know about the strength of earthquakes for those who aren’t as well informed as you are.

Not really. The 10.8M earthquake wouldn't actually split the earth. The insides of our planet are liquid, so it would be like trying to slice water.

Can I make a request, that it occur precisely between the U.S. states California and Arizona? Because God loves us all, he will bestow upon us a beautiful serene paradise, called Arizona Bay, when California falls into the ocean. Bye!
