My opinion : If you want to trade bitcoin ... maybe you're a believer long term who wants to sell and buy back lower to grow your holdings... OK, that's probably possible at times. But it's probably a good idea to separate your "trading" BTC from your "holding" BTC in appropriate percentages. That way, you don't damage your core holdings in an asset you believe in long term.

Use a non-custodial exchange. Unless you are buying 0.01 BTC at a time, use a Lightning Network wallet and only transfer to a Bitcoin mainnet wallet (cold or hot wallet) once the accumulated total reaches 0.01 BTC or more.

The 100k level is a significant psychological barrier with strong sell resistance. I expect the market to move sideways for a few weeks as those sell orders get cleared out. We’ll likely test 100k multiple times and face rejections before breaking through. Once the sell wall is gone, we should reach 100k. Pure speculation, but this could happen around Christmas, followed by a massive pump in January

People are thinking this cycle is "different" because of the ETFs (forget about nation states, they move slow, and the US Bitcoin reserve act needs to get passed to ignite that). But ETFs can outflow just as fast as they inflow. A lot of the ETFs are willing to trade, not just long term invest. This means that we will very likely get those killer corrections seen in past BTC parabolic phases--massive corrections of up to 40 or even 50%. Yes, volatility is decreasing over time. But that still leaves room for 30-40% corrections (at least 1, probably 2, possibly 3, probably not 4). These corrections appear to be necessary for BTC to make the next parabolic leg up. This is why you always need dry powder--ALWAYS. And take your profits along the way up. And buy along the way down. Unless you're an investor, but if you've been buying BTC above 60k or so, you're going to have to wait ~4 more years to break back even. It's a vicious game folks. Some people make significant profits, but those significant profits are made at the expense of less skilled/less fortunate/less wise masses.

Thanks Rajat. The 100K “Wall” is a massive amount of ‘Long term sell money’ that bitcoin needs buy up before it can move up into new ground. Once that money has been bought up, the amount of long term institutional adoption now waiting to enter behind it is enormous, and that, in my opinion will prevent the same scale of large pullbacks we’ve seen before. Wishful thinking, or reality…it remains to be seen. 😂

I think that when governments start buying Bitcoin, its price will go way higher than anyone expects. If the US will buy its first share of BTC to build its strategic reserves, other largest countries will do the same (i.e. China, India, Russia) and this will officially put the legitimate seal on Bitcoin as an official and approved cryptocurrency. Because strategic reserves are made to be HOLD and the rest of the world starts to hold long term Bitcoin reserves as well. Regarding what happened on and after 22nd of November - have you explored the blockchain and saw block by block what happened in those days? There are approx. 140 - 150 blocks mined everyday, so approx 1300 blocks ago some long time holders had to start to sell. At least so I've heard. Today's average block's value is 200 - 300 mln - on November 22 many blocks were worth 1 - 2 blns. But from what I saw Bitcoin already corrected itself and its price is growing, so I doubt there will be serious drops in the following months. IMO of course.

as btc price increases, small/weak hands will sell to strong hands. Past btc investors are retailers which can't continue to play +100k btc. The new strong hands will be big institutions, which tend to buy and hold. IMO, i don't expect huge correction like in the past.

You can buy fractional Bitcoin if you cannot afford a full Bitcoin. To buy 1 000 000 satoshis, you put in a buy order for 0.01 BTC on an exchange, for instance.

Relax. A dip would be ok. I started at 32k and rode this donkey to 16k and kept adding. It’s not easy. But everyone is assured of 100k and it’s not happening. Not yet. That’s the way it works. When quantum computing can hack the current bitcoin we will take quantum security measures. But wallets that are not updated will be hacked. satoshi wallets (1 million bitcoin) and wallets that lost access (3 million bitcoin) someone will hack them and they will move and possibly sell the bitcoin.
