That hangtown race was the most perfect ride ive ever seen in mx. That bike looked like a feather on his hands. Perfect set and he was peak in confidence and focus. For sure a rlly rare moment in this sport.

I truly believe that 2015 Eli Tomac is the best ET3. I believe he could have run with or beaten anyone, regardless of year or person. including Jett, Herlings, Stewart or Carmichael. A 1:31second lead in a non mud race is unheard of. And he still looked fresh at the end of the moto so you know the fitness was there along with the speed. Unfortunately he couldn't stay off the ground though.

That season is what made him only ride hard enough to win. Nothing more. Gets to the lead and just maintains ever since. Might have been peak ET. But he doesn’t go out to win by a minute anymore either.

The difference with jett is that he has the ability to turn it down and ride in his comfort zone when he doesnt need to push, and thats what kept him so clean all season. If ken or chase made a mistake behind him and there was a gap, he didnt send it and try to win by a minute, he just kept himself in control, its not as explosive to watch but seeing the clinical skill from this kid is unbelievable. Tomac is awesome to watch and fast as hell but his pitfall was the same as a lot of riders which was leaning on the afterburners too hard and eventually something blows up

The thing is Jett has never been redlined by a rider yet and I’m sure Tomac will wring him out during the season. Mistakes will happen

Sounds like a straw grasping to me,if tomac had the speed and endurance to stay red lined that long by himself out front.and Jett hasn't,well that means tomac can or has.and Jett can't or hasn't,pretty simple 1 minute and 22 second lead with ease.

Tomac was amazing, but man that bike might be the best I've ever seen. Looks unbelievably fast and the bumps have zero effect on it. it looks like the the rear tire is planted to the ground without dragging the bike down at all, amazing

Even though this dude is from Colorado, Colorado has kind of been his kryptonite. Thunder valley is what ended his 2015 season. Just like Denver ended his supercross season last year. But man it is fun watching him ride

Not Undefeated but he definitely would have been a contender as for the 23 season. We were robbed great racing but Glad Eli is up to Speed and training with Danger hope this season goes well and wishing both of them to come in one piece at the end of the season 🙏. Lawrence is the young RC and Tomac is MC still the king. Jett has a long ways to go, but got to root for our Americans 🫡🇺🇸
