Professor Tim Corson from Indiana University School of Medicine discusses his latest project with the University of Surrey in the UK and how they are using powerful healing compounds found in plants, to find a treatment for macular disease. I am getting injection s have been over a year now getting them both injections at same time I get 1 in each eye same day but last week my eye is blurry has been how long will I need them Injection s not sore discomfort after

Hi Anne. I'm sorry to hear that your vision has been blurry after your injections, but I'm glad to hear you haven't had any discomfort. Usually following diagnosis, people will usually have a loading dose of three injections, once a month for three months. A patient will then be assessed to see if more injections are required. It may mean you will continue needing injections for some time, depending on your condition. Please make sure you discuss this with your ophthalmologist and they will be able to update you on this.

Hi Satish, this is research into a potential treatment for wet AMD. However, it is very early days (pre clinical trial) and in its investigatory stages.
