In Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus tells us a parable where 10 virgins are waiting for their groom to come and get them. The groom was late and 5 virgins were not prepared for his coming. They were missing because they had to get oil for their lamps. The other 5 virgins were prepared and they had kept their lamps full of oil. They were ready when Jesus the groom arrived.
How do you keep your oil lamps full? Isaiah 40:31 tells us, "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. "
David encourages us to wait for the Lord, Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! "
In Matthew 6:6 Jesus tells us to go to a quite place to seek the Lord, "... But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. "
In Matthew 6:19-21 Jesus tell us the importance of seeking Heavenly treasure (oil of great price), “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. "
In Revelation 3:18 Jesus advises the church to come to Him for true riches, spiritual wealth, " I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. "
Be encouraged, JESUS IS COMING SOON! Jesus command us to watch for His coming, Matt 24:42-44 "Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. "
Paul encourages believers to endure and persevere because Jesus' promise is near, Hebrews 10:36,37 " For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, 'Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; '"
James encourages us to be patient, James 5:7-8 "Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand."
Jesus tells us in Revelation 3:11, "I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown."
In 1 Corinthians 16:22 Paul says, "If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come! ( Greek Maranatha )"

Jesus spoke in parables and I believe when He said "NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR HOUR" He was giving us the day for Feast of Trumpets is described as no one knows the day or hour and then in Daniel we see prayers were hindered for 21 days, and we are all wanting the rapture praying it happens on Feast of Trumpets but the LORD delays His coming due to war in heavenlies and 21 days after Feast of Trumpets is OCT 23, 2024 Shemini Atzeret

I asked the Lord for a rapture dream a few days ago and last night i had a dream where I was in a vehicle and we had stopped in the road. There was a helicopter off to the side, and the pilot was taken by surprise and looked up at a massive amount of helicopters landing all around us, one in front of us on the road, one behind us on the road keeping us from going anywhere and masses of helicopters all landed in the fields all around us. On October 22, 2023, I encountered a divine being, an angel, or angelic figure that appeared to me in person. I believe very strongly the rapture will occur the evening of the 23rd of October. or sometime October 24. I think its very possible, I received a 1 year warning to the day of the rapture. I hope you're right. For some reason I've had 24th in my head but the extra comet Moon think it's S1 Atlas isn't arriving until 28th. There's a lot of solar flares at the minute and the sun has an unusual amount of spots. I hope I'm not disappointed if he isn't here by the end of the month. So when Jesus said, “I will raise you up on The last Day.” He was referring to this. Not the Modern American understanding of the destruction of this earth. Read John 6:39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. John 6:40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. He is talking about raising us up to Him - the rapture. "confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe IN YOUR HEART that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. That was the gospel Paul preached. He would not preach anything other than what Jesus said, John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." The concept of her receiving Jesus as her savior fulfils the understanding. Lastly, do you doubt my asking Jesus to send her the Holy Spirit to convict her of these truths was not sufficient? Does the Holy Spirit not know how to lead a person to understanding?

While watching I was reminded that Moses and Elijah appeared during the transfiguration of Christ during the Feast of Tabernacles. Jewish marriage customs and tradition doesn’t allow for wedding to be held on Sabbaths and on any Jewish feasts and holidays. So I gander it will be after that. So if the rapture is considered Christ wedding to the Church then it will have to observe Jewish tradition. If anything it will have to be after the last trumpet blast of the day.

Permaybe? The 8th day is not the prescribed Sabbath days though they are told not to work on that day. Neither is it part of Sokot (The Feast of Trumpets)... Question is really, why is it there at all? Jews do treat it as a major feast day meant for reflection and any marriages would be scheduled afterward... but then again... Jesus allowed the disciples to gather food on the Sabbath and said the sabbath was for man... so, God can basically do what he wants. We expect that He will rapture the church on a feast day but he is certainly not bound to that.

That's the way I understand it yes... a day goes from sunset to sundown the next day. Understand that the dates are not absolute. We have a polluted calendar which can be day(s) or weeks off. Hello. I understand the presentation but was wondering what Paul really meant by the "Last Trump." So many have linked this to the Feast of Trumpets. Is there any reason why the people of Paul's time would have understood it as a reference to Sehemini Atzaret, i.e. would anyone of the time have referred to the trumpet on that day as the "Last Trump?" Also, does this mean that the Fall Feasts are to be fulfilled out of their traditionally understood order? Thanks!

It might have to do also with Truump announcing official “Peace and safety”, a false, worldwide peace. Could happen on the Great Last Day. I say bring it on! MARANATHA!!

That's a good question. Many assume the meaning of the last trump to be the last trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets also known as Tekiah Gedolah. It is the longest and most significant blast. I did mention the Rapture did not come with the last Feast of Trumpets and certainly it could be in a future feast. Paul's text does not say which trumpet. In fact, there are several trumpets during the Jewish feasts... which one? What I outlined is the trumpets blown by God with a shout in prophecy which do align themselves with scripture as well as "The Great Day" Shemini Atzeret and the writings of Paul. Of course, I am only one person but I'm not the only person to see this in scriptures. I'm not sure what you mean by they are to be fulfilled out of their traditionally understood order. I believe that question is loaded with some preconceived interpretations and I don't need to defend anything here. What if God decided to ordain something new? What if He already did and we don't see it? Though it is a reasonable idea that the feasts are appointed times, the exact order of what God is doing is not completely understood. Is it possible there are other interpretations of the feasts and God's timeline we have not considered yet? Yes, and all the watchmen do not always agree on them.

Paul said in Romans 11:25 that Israel is blinded until the fulness of the Gentiles come. That fulness is in context with Romans 11:11-12. Basically, it's the end of our Dispensation of Grace. That last trump could just be referring to the last call, the door is shut. No more will salvation be by Grace through faith. At that point, anyone left behind will have to endure to be saved.

Of course, he also mentions the statement of "Peace and Safety" as being a prelude to sudden destruction. Well, we've been hearing a lot of calls for "peace and security" for several years now, mostly around September each year. Since the Word is Truth, should we then be looking for an actual declaration of "Peace and Safety" having been ACHIEVED right before the end of this Dispensation of Grace? The seven-year tribulation is not God's Wrath, only the last half is God's Wrath. Revelation 11:18 is the exact halfway point in the seven-year tribulation and look at what event is taking place. REVELATION 11:18 V 18 THE WORLD WAS ANGRY AND YOUR WRATH HAS COME. Bruce

There are some who say the custom is to blow the trumpet on the last day of the year but I could not verify that so I did not say that. God blows the trumpet in the scriptures I found... not the work of man from what I see.

Interesting take on the last day, I wonder if it has a double meaning and that you are on to something here. I believe the last day is the millennial kingdom and that day lasts for 1000 years that we will be raised up for, I also believe we are very near to that day. I also think the 2024 dates are wrong I think it’s more likely to be 2027 but maybe that’s just when the temple gets built.

There are many interpretations/opinions of the calendar... I will defer to people who have been doing this much longer than myself... most are in the ball park... give or take a day or week. Watching is not an exact science...

I think the Essene / Dead Sea Scrolls solar calendar is the true Biblical calendar however if we consider that the Yamim Noraim are likely 10 years (2 Yom Teruah, 7 Tribulation, 1 Yom Kippur) then perhaps any day within the first two years fulfills the pattern? If so then I would not be surprised if the rapture happens on a holiday according to the modern Jewish calendar since that would be more likely to draw scrutinous attention in Israel. Of course that's entirely speculation on my part. It seems very close given the wars brewing and global government waiting in the wings but guessing an exact date has thus far proven spurious. In retrospect it will be obvious but not before.

@@revivalistsfire I agree about that - my understanding is that the last jubilee of the Age of Grace begins in 2025 and the last jubilee of the Age of Torah was 25-75AD. Jesus fulfilled the spring festivals toward the beginning of the period but the destruction of the Temple was toward the end. I suspect we may see something similar. My hypothesis is that Apophis striking the Earth (4/13/29) fulfills the first 4 trumpet blasts at the middle of the Tribulation and 1,260 days prior to that is 10/31/25 (and 1,260 days after Apophis is Yom Kippur 2032 on the Essene Calendar). If that's true then the rapture is between today and next Halloween and we'll be back to clean up in 2032 with 2075 being the 'official' beginning of the Millennium. Here's hoping it's this week!

I have been thinking along the same lines as it regards the Eighth Day. I am wondering as well if the actual date of the Eighth Day could be as late as the 26th, given that the first acknowledgement of the new moon fell on October 4th. Bye the way, the tribulation is not the wrath of God or the Wrath of the Lamb, because according to scripture the tribulation period started in the first century and continues until now. Believers are saved and escape the Wrath of the Lamb that starts at the opening the seventh seal in Revelation chapter eight. A more thorough study of the scriptures reveals the rapture and the second coming of the Lord to be one and the same event. The Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, are in perfect agreement and in harmony with the seals of Revelation chapter 6. Just as the Lord concludes His remarks concerning the two thousand years of tribulation that began in His day, and continues today, He will return in all of His glory, with His holy angels, to gather all believers in the rapture as found in Matthew 24:29-31. The same event is described in Revelation chapter six when the sixth seal is opened. He comes once, and only once, to gather believers, and at the same time to begin the pouring out His wrath onto an unbelieving world. Once we as believers are taken to the Father’s House in heaven above, we will rule and reign with the Lord, with a rod of iron, over the affairs of the earth, from heaven above. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10, should be read in context as one discussion, or message. There is no secret silent rapture event. Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. If the rapture happens before the tribulation, why is that new testament scriptures like Mathew 24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:24-27; Revelation 7:9-14, all speak of the tribulation before the coming of the Lord, and not after He comes? If a person really believes that the last 2000 years of 730,000 days have been the happiest of times, and that there is coming a seven year period of 2555 days in the future that is significantly more terrible in every way, I would say that that person needs to revisit the scriptures concerning the tribulation and the coming of the Lord.

I have been contemplating that, but what has me rethinking it is that God orchestrated two very special eclipses this year marking the first day of Nisan with the April 8 eclipse and the first day of Tishri October 2, the wedding ring eclipse. A solar eclipse can only happen on a new moon!! So it’s as if God wanted us to know exactly this year when the start of Nisan and Tishri were. 😇

The rapture will take place on the last day. Jesus said four times that I will rise him up on the last day. Everyone in Israel knew when the resurrection would take place because Jesus and His disciples told them. The last day is the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles which is the eight day called Shemini Atzeret. Jesus told us five times in the bible when He will arrive at the rapture and one of those times is when He brought Peter, James and John up Mount Tabor. When they arrived up on Mount Tabor Peter said, it is good to be here let us build three booths one for Moses, one for Elijah and one for you. The reason Peter wanted to build booths was Jesus took His disciples up the mount on the Feast of Tabernacles so that He could show this last generation when He will arrive at the rapture. The church/body of Christ is removed seven years before the events predicted in Matthew 24 and 25. Jesus is not talking to "us", He is talking to Israel about the day of the Lord/battle of Armageddon, and the end of the age (Mt. 24:3). Our gathering together unto Him (2 Thess. 2:1) is not the same gathering in Mt. 24:28-31. The dispersed of Israel are regathered on the day of the Lord (Isa. 11:11-12; Ezek. 20:33-44). The "elect" of Matthew 24 are the Jewish elect, not the church elect (Isa. 65:9, 22). Whether or not Jesus returns on Shemini Atzeret, it will NOT be this year, or next year, or the year after that. There is no Babylon in Shinar, and until it is rebuilt (Zech. 5:5-11) Jesus will not take His church "out of the way". There is no NEED to do so!

Father gave me a waking vision of in the clouds, HE let me see how FEW have a relationship with Jesus. In the clouds it looked big enough for hundreds maybe thousands and that includes the dead in Christ. ALL were welcome but FEW showed up. Being saved is easy but pride has kept MANY from starting a relationship with HIM. I've heard the Father's voice and the Son's voice. I KNOW where I'm going! Only satan wants false hope to be sold.

What part of "No man knows the day or hour" do people fail to grasp?? Im not trying to be mean, but come on guys, Jesus couldn't have made it any clearer!!! We are to keep our eyes fixed on Him, and be prepared for His return ALWAYS!! My fear with all of these rapture predictions (that come and go without fail), is that it is setting up new believers (or potential new believers)- possibly even seasoned believers!!- for disappointment or doubt!!!

I respectfully disagree. They waited for JESUS to come the first time around, remember? Faith, is faith. If someone loses faith WAITING for something they don't see, and fall away, that's on them. Notice the wisemen (foreigners!) came the first time to recognize Jesus after WATCHING the stars! Keep looking up. Pray for people to not lose faith, but people who get discouraged by waiting....well Israel waited for the Messiah and when he did come THEY WERE NOT READY. Every Christian should watch for Jesus. For themselves and others, even if it's because their time is up, rather than the rapture. I mean this with all love and respect to many who complain about those watching... people should not lose faith in Jesus because dates come and go. I would like to understand lots of prophetic scripture better....some things I'm not sure of...but maybe God is trying to grow my faith. Abraham was promised things and he doubted that Sarah would conceive. Dates came and went, the promise cannot cause doubt, just impatient people (I am one myself, so I would know 😂) People doubt. The word of caution should go both ways, but Jesus did say WATCH. Just be ready. I am not sure if it's coming soon but if these dates come and go, I will keep believing in Jesus. I do see your point...and I do have some concerns about the timeline but I am hopeful that the rapture is soon. God bless!

I learned the hard way that you don't second guess God, especially in naming or calculating a rapture date. God has his reasons, and He wants us to wait on His decision (or time as we humans call it). Sure, there are lots of signs to let us know we are in the last few days. There are dreams, and false prophecies, too. I had bet heavily the rapture would be on October 3, and made a fool of myself and boy did I have to repent for that. Just know God has His reasons, His "timing", and it will be perfect. Now we all have our work to do, so please stop gambling with this date-fixing schemes.

Hello, I have a message from the LORD to you. Please read these scriptures from the word of God thoroughly. Matthew 24:29-31: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. The Rapture is after the tribulation. Tribulation starts after the abomination of desolation: Matthew 24:15-21: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. The tribulation starts three and a half years into the 70th week of Daniel. One week biblically is 7 years. The tribulation is for three and a half years, and starts when the abomination of desolation takes place, which happens half way into the 7 years peace agreement. The agreement is signed for 7 years, but it will be broken half way, so the tribulation starts when that peace deal is broken. So look out when the peace deal is signed in the middle east, then there is three and a half years to the tribulation starts, and the rapture is after the tribulation. Study Gods word. Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee. Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
