i buyed 2 and modified them. They now come stock with a 050 motor, its enough power to bend the driveshafts. Metal driveshafts are recommended, most of the axial scx24 driveshafts fit!

Kev dont drive on your lambo. Even though the tires are rubber there could be sand on them and that could cause hair scratches that you can see when you shine a torch on the paint. It makes the paint less shiny:) no hate though. Love your stuff.

That thing is awesome. That's a steep angle for that little guy. For the price it's a good value. I would remove that rear tire and/or try different body styles for the top heaviness. I do like that body style so maybe add some weights in the chassis to make it more stable.

Wow that thing has a ton of torque twist. Kind of hard to call it the best until you address that. If you can find a way to outboard the bottom of the shocks (Malcolm bottoms outside closer to the tires)you will be able to climb at a much steeper angle and one wheel will not lift off

I would buy more of these cheaper crawlers but the spring shocks are deal breakers and ive tried it b4 its like 50/50 being able to find oil filled shocks that fit properly it turns into a nightmare and its never going to preform properly with those bouncy springs

I would get the HBX devastator. 1/24 scale of Scx 24. I have all three . The transmission on this one went out pretty quickly for me. The HBX devastator is my favorite it just needs better tires for it. I'm running rock Creeper's on mine.

Well no, live axles will do that

Well yes: when the truck is crawling up the ramp the right front wheel is raised way above the other three. That is not the effect of a live axle on an even surface that is a weak portion in the frame being twisted. Live axle has nothing to do with it. Both tires will pull at the same rate on an even surface as long as the spider gears are the same on R/L front axle.

I have the c24, it looks super cool but I haven't had luck with performance. Driveshafts constantly fail and when I ordered aluminum upgrades they didn't even fit together. I now have the trx4 sport and it's been one of the most reliable RC cars I've had, and it's an amazing crawler.
