"Boats are just a hole in the water into which you pour money." My Mom had a plaque with that on it when I was a kid. We had a 26' Egg Harbor cabin cruiser when I was a kid. It was a blast even if not cheap to keep. I cried when they sold it when we were moving to AZ from CT. Oh, how I miss it!

We've had several missing people in Knoxville in the last year or 2. When cars disappear here, it's rarely the river they end up in. Often, it's one of the quarries and small lake inlets. Especially in cases that *may* involve foul play. The area of the river you were in is high traffic due to the airport, the riverboat, and the waterfront development recently. If there's a chance foul play was involved, locals would know the best places to look. Especially locals in the area of the city you were in.

Good morning Adam and Nug. Thank you for diving on all of the cars. Adam I hope you have a dry suite on.

Get in contact with a sheet latex supplier, buy some 1mm orage, and some latex cement. You'll also need a wallpaper roller. Get some canvas from your craft store, too. Cut the canvas to 2" larger than the rip, and the latex 2" larger than that. Put cement in the middle of the latex, soak the canvas in some more, allow both to get close to dry. If the latex crinkles, just wait, it'll flatten - just make sure it doesn't stick to itself Press the two together, and roll it over with the roller. Use needle and thread to bring the edges of the rip together, and repeat, gluing the patch to the boat. You can feather the edges into a slope with rubber cement ;ater, if you want. The same works for drysuits, just use a lighter latex, 0.6 or 0.4mm. Wetsuits are neoprene, so use a neoprene glue like Renia Colle de Cologne

Expiration stickers can also just lose their adhiesive and fall off. There could have been multiple stickers on top of the '13 sticker. Also, sometimes people put the year sticker in different corners after they've had the same plate for a long time. Sort of an ornimental 'fetish', if you will. But most likely the last plate was just stolen or taken from a scrap yard, then attatched to a stolen car.

I live in Knoxville and could have helped you guys with several things if I'd known you were here. Those blue license plates were just issued in TN this year in 2022. If she's gone since 2020, no way it's her car, but I'm sure that's revealed. Also, there has been major road construction here in the last two decades, and there are lots of places cars could have went in water that no longer have access. Did you look at any old maps?
