sooooooooooo much better than most compact cameras! with a cheap kit like this you can change ISO, have long exposure, exp compesation, flash bult in if needed, reliable auto focus, better image quality also, multiple lens options, etc. I admit maybe it doesn´t look AS COOL as a mjuii for example... XD kids these days... Great video!

Thanks! Yeah, you're 100% spot on with all that. Get good glass with that rig and you're set! At a certain point, one has to think, "should I drop $100, $200, $800, $2800 on a camera, or just do this?". Thanks for chiming in!

That's a similar rig to what I bought in Japan. I got the Canon EOS 300V and mounted a 50mm 1.8 STM on it. That set up is very lightweight so a person can explore the streets of Japan all day and never tire of carrying it. Great pix and soundtrack. Sub earned.

Wow, I totally appreciate it. Thx a ton. Yeah, the rig is nice and light and I should probably use it more. I've had a roll of PRO 400H in that thing for 6 months or so that I keep shooting at night with. I've got a Fast 50 on it atm and it's insanely light. I wish it had 100% viewfinder coverage, but I make do.

The Rebel G is a bit more expensive than the others here in the U.S. Don't know why. I know I have the Kiss, not sure if I've picked up the G. Had a GII, but didn't like it. The Kiss III is a nice little shooter. Thanks for the video.

Ah. Very interesting. Prices are getting strange over here over the past number of months, so I'll have to check out the cameras you mentioned. The one I purchased is practically new, so that's a factor, but I constantly see them in stores in the "junk" boxes. *not junk, just untested stuff. I keep this fella for when I just don't want something heavy to carry. Thanks for chiming in!
