This has been a war of attrition for a while now, Russia is not really trying to push, they're trying to deplete Ukraine's army. I have been following a french channel that describes troop movements for over a year now and all Russia is constantly doing is partially encircle some Ukrainian divisions, destroy them with their superior artillery (they fire 20 artillery shells for every shell Ukraine fire) and then rinse and repeat. Given the fact that Ukraine had to urgently conscript 500 000 more men this summer and a further 160 000 a month ago to keep their frontline from collapsing, the fact that by their own admission they're still outnumbered 10 to 1 on some fronts and the fact that Russia actually hasn't sent their conscripts or their reserve to the frontline yet well...yeah. Ukraine is just gonna run out of steam long before Russia does. There's a reason why Zelensky really wants NATO to get directly involved, it's his only way to win at this point.

As someone who isn't pro either side It's fantasy to imagine Ukraine never stopping until they gain everything. Fuel and manpower is what will stop them. Already Ukraine is losing ground very slowly.. Russia hasn't even fully mobilised and Ukraine is still struggling. No country has any ground to stand on when they have lost more than they have gained. The only chance Ukraine has on gaining all their land back is if Nato suddenly declared war on Russia but that would prevent WW3 which I don't doubt you'll immediately enlist in. Ukraine is going to be a Finland situation where Russia embarrasses themselves fighting a smaller country but still eats a part of the country whilst the country that was defending itself comes out still independent and not fully taken over.

Russia did run out of their stock of mid range missiles. What they are shooting right now is current production which is why they dont conduct missile attacks every day like they did in 2022, but every couple days or even weeks sometimes when they plan a mass bombardment, but even then its mostly Iranian drones as seen on the map you presented. In those bombardments Russian missiles account only for around 15% of the punch while the rest are Iranian drones.

The Germans used the exact same tactic when they got the Sudetenland in the Munich accords, then they crossed into Sudetenland in early October 1938, and they pinky promised the UK and France that they won't invade the rest of Czechoslovakia, they then ended up occupying the rest of Czechoslovakia in March of 1939. The thing is, I don't see Russia accepting that plan either, they repeatedly stated that they won't accept any form of Ukrainian statehood, and will not tolerate foreign troops on their borders nor would they tolerate the US sending Ukraine even more lethal weapons.

Short answer, No, long answer a ceasefire wouldn’t be declared as neither side is close to really losing, and honestly Russia has way more to lose internationally if they don’t essentially take over the entire country, they have been losing to decades old military tech from NATO and the US and have shown that they can’t win a land war against their next door neighbor despite calling themselves a world power, and Ukraine won’t just surrender territory when Russia is getting pushed hard
