@@isrpress8604 The USA does not need to attack NK. It literally cant feed the majority of its population. They have prison camp farms where people starve to death picking food for others. THE Only way this would ever work, is if NK strikes first, and as mentioned by Tron, and also stated, NK would be on its own. Which they know. Which would mean there most likely will never be a war between those two as long as this situation is happening (NK Starving and isolated, USA happy, over feed, center of the attention most of the time) *Russia is barely helping in peace time by the way. They also have the highest homelessness/starving people among the modern countries. NK However has made it clear multiple occasions that it wants the USA off the map. Which now makes it a little more likely that this scenario that he showed, may play out. I do disagree with the video. The USA may struggle but it will not have as hard of a time as he suggests. Main reason, the USA military utilizes all aspect of its arsenal in a more fluid way. You cant sit there and tell me that the airforce will be sitting by while their outdated tanks roll up on their buddies. Not to forget these arent the old timer dummy bombs either. typically 1 shot 1 kill. NK Will give the USA issues yes. Not nearly as bad as one would think however. Thats a huge army he has but its not easy to mobilize in a wartime situation which they have never really been in vs the USA which has been at war for a good long time, and probably hasnt gone more than a couple of decades between wars the further you go back to the US Korean war. In conclusion, this video is mostly correct. You on the other hand are 100% wrong. If anything they may assist the USA for the first time, as mentioned by Putin around the time he also warned that he will Not help in anyway (NK) if they strike the USA first. NK would just become a parking lot for a Krogers.

This WAS the Kim Jong-Un propaganda edition... there is no way that large numbers of poorly trained and malnourished soldiers would stand a chance against US expeditionary forces. By the time any US force landed, there would be no more coastal defenses and any armor or artillery that was stupid enough to poke its head out to fire at US troops would be quickly dealt with. Millions of Korean soldiers would die compared to maybe 5k US soldiers. The only reason that we've had as many casualties in over the last 16 years in the Middle East is because of stupid decisions by politicians. Also, if one nuke was shot at the US anywhere, NK would vanish in a mushroom cloud puff of smoke.

@ mrmoo Because there are other places around NK and no one likes radiation. Why cause a bunch of radiation over one nuclear hit when we could achieve the same level of destruction with conventional weapons pretty much uncontested? NK isn't the USSR, China or WWII Japan.. I'm confident that everything of military or government importance could be destroyed in NK with conventional weapons in a short time with a very low amount of losses. US would get global moral high ground by not nuking NK. In contrast, radiation spilling into China, SK and Russia might piss them off and if enough people get killed, China may decide to launch. Taking a low yield hit by NK but using only a massive conventional counter attack would take care in being sure not to aid in the begings of a full scale global thermal nuclear war.

Yeah, Sadam Hussein have had much more powerful and modern military, own oil and it took few weeks to obliterate it. NK air defence and air force would last about 24 hours if hiding and about 30 minutes if trying to fight back. Their submarines are loud and would be located/destroyed within few days. As for NK army, they have no modern tanks or armoured vehicles + total US air superiority they do not stand a chance even against relatively small landing force supported by navy. N Korea's army is spread around the country and would take days to move it to landing location. Initial landing force would face relatively small number of defenders with mostly no tanks or artillery. while any arriving NK reinforcements could be nicely carpet bombed to oblivion. In open conflict NK military stand no chance.

Problem of the bombing of massed NK troops remains very high though. I think if NK were attacked they would immediately send everything they had into SK to muddy the lines a bit. This is going to be one of the few times I am going to strongly disagree with your video. The US military wouldn't break a sweat destroying and invading North Korea. A lot of people though before the first Gulf War in 1990 that the US would take a lot casualties but they didn't and Iraq had a much better trained and equipment military. First of the US air power would literally destroy EVERTHING in North Korea and once the bombing campaign was over, what little is left of the North Korean military wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight against the US army and Marines. Once the US army and Marines invaded North Korea, we would cut through them like a hot knife through butter. The war wouldn't last very long. Actually the longest part of the war would be the bombing campaign!

I like this video, however I feel your making the assumption that North Korean ground forces have parity to US ground forces, but that's not the case. Several first hand accounts from defectors tell of the training environment in North Korea. It's laughable, most of the course is conditioning and propaganda and combat training is woefully sub-par for regular troops. Their equipment is 1970 Soviet issue and night operations are virtually non-existent. A ground invasion would be done jointly with South Korea in the air, land, and sea with perhaps Japan giving Naval or Air support. Also missile defenses has been reinforced for months and modern systems should give 80%+ suppression on those 60s -70s era missile designs. We also have a large surface and submarine presence already there. While I agree there would be a lot of casualties if a sizable portion of the population doesn't bolt/defect as soon as they see us coming. There are several reports and defector intelligence indicating much of the population is being red-pilled by either the growing oppressive actions by the government and/or from information, radios, movies, and news being smuggled in from outside their borders. Overall it was a very well thought out video despite some over simplistic assumptions.

I'm a Kiwi living in New Zealand. If the USA does go to war I here and now swear my allegiance as an allied country and supporter of the USA to do my part because if it were not for the United States intercepting the Japanese navy fleet in world war II we here in New Zealand would all be speaking Japanese.. That intercept lead to the greatest display of naval battle power ever displayed in human history and in massive causalities. Americans lost their lives so that the south pacific could be free and I'll be dammed if I'm going to let Rocket man scare me. We here in NewZealand owe a lot to the United States and I wish they taught this fact in our schools here. I would love to become an American Citizen and serve my country. I'm proud of New Zealand. But I have to take my hat off to the United States of America. I hope America never falls. I hope America is victorious. Imagine the world without America. It would be terrifying. A few things to keep in mind: After a year of non-stop air and cruise missile attacks, there would be nothing left in N. Korea worth bombing. The US would not only destroy large weapons systems, but any troop gatherings, all command and control, all logistics, all munitions supplies. Basically N. Korea would not be able to move a battalion somewhere without it being attacked/destroyed. Also, I suspect most N. Koreans would quickly abandon the fight as they probably don't support the government and even if they did, how would they be fed and supplied? I see a US cakewalk.

So basically we will never see SK vs NK... As fun as these simulations may be, they don't in any way give us an idea of what a real war would look like. How well might US do if they CAN use Japan and SK? How well would SK do by itself. South Korea + US + Japan vs. North Korea + tentative support from China, as they try to avoid war with US, especially if the war was escalated to nuclear war by North Korea. IMO this seems the most realistic.
