Why should I compromise my happiness about something so serious just to be unhappy in a relationship? Why? Because at some point I'm going to want what I like, and go get it. I'm not a cheater, so I do all that I can to NOT set myself or my partner up for failure. You can never say, " well you never told me that"! It's one of the first things I ask when dating someone. It's a part of intimacy, and I've found that most gay men don't have a clue about being intimate. Usually, if they don't do head, they don't enjoy the pleasures of kissing either. They just want the wham bam.
