Just a thought, but...if you are okay with a cassette toilet, why not have one that stows under the bed or in the back instead of being part of the shower. The shower looks like it would be great if it were just a shower. Great van though!

I like it! Cassette toilets work well cuz you don’t need a dedicated dump station. Separate living space from the sleeping area. Great storage! Plenty of space for a solo road trip. All the light finishes making brighter, but will make for a lot of cleaning. Kinda wish it had a separate generator, but it has lots of lithium.🥰
@athenasword83122 жыл бұрын
Realistically, 4 people aren't going to do any kind of road tripping in something that small. Plus, there's no place for them to sleep so why make a big deal out of the 4 seat belts? It also makes that dinette thing wasted space. Why do manufacturers have this fantasy that more than 2 people travel in these small units. Make them for one or two people, like real-world situations so there is more space.

I like the bed, and I don't normally say that if it isn't fixed. They saw that you have to have garage space *while the bed is being slept on*. It doesn't matter how much space you have if you have to leave things out at night because you need to set up the bed. And awesome price point!!

I totally agree with Matt, there isn’t much that is desirable and/or livable about this $126,000 Class B☹️but most importantly, the batteries are dead in this RV😳is very alarming because if they were allowed to totally discharge for a significant amount of time then they are most likely damaged. They should be replaced, but we all know they never will be😬

I wanted a class B until I started watching your reviews. I now realize there is not enough table space for me to put my computer monitor, laptop, keyboard and mouse. There is also no way I want to have to put a bed together and pull it apart everyday. And finally me and my dogs stuck in one of those things for the day due to weather would be way to cramped. Thanks for helping me narrow down what would work best for me.

If you were solo in this camper, then the twin beds in the back could be used as a desk on the passenger side and the bed on the driver's side. Or the 2022 Thor Tellaro 20L works even better that way.

They don't. This is more of a compromise; you can use it as a regular vehicle and move four people around. So it's not just stuck being a little motorhome. Not Really sure who would want to sleep in this thing for more than one day anyway

Comparing this to the Winnebago Solis which I have, this is pretty much the same floorplan (sans pop-top). This would be the choice for people that want the lithium batteries instead of a generator and don't care about the pop top. Personally, I prefer the AGM batteries because I don't have to worry about them in the cold and don't have to worry about a power-sucking heating pad anytime it drops below 35-40f. Likes: Price is actually good considering inflation and today's market while still having that 460ah of lithium batteries. If it comes with the bike rack in that MSRP, that's good also, as many Promaster B's don't come with one so most do it aftermarket anyway. Also nice that they gave you easy access to common-issue components like the water pump and the inverter wiring. Dislikes: Sorry, but those valences are not meant for those windows at all. Not only the looks, but those back ones will definitely get kicked off while sleeping east-west. Not a fan of the screen for controlling things in a van this size, just give us a couple switches and Vanna White lights. Can't stress enough about the price being good. Put this same floorplan and features in a Mercedes chassis and it's automatically a $180-200k MSRP van.

I've been 2 yrs full time in my custom Class B. Couldn't find one ready-made that fit my needs. I've never seen one that's practical for more than 2 people so I don't understand the extra two passenger seats. Two front swivel seats and a Lagun table would free up a ton of space. This one isn't a 4 season van because the batteries etc are undermounted (which also affects ground clearance). Everything that could freeze must be above the floor. I used to scoff that I'd simply follow the good weather. Impossible to guarantee a night won't drop below freezing unless you severely limit your travels. Nothing compares to a residential bathroom, but I prefer my composting toilet over a cassette. Doesn't smell if used and installed properly with the exhaust fan. You dump the solids into a heavy trash bag and toss in any dumpster. Legal everywhere, just like baby diapers. I don't like the tiny, shallow sink. The fridge location would be annoying. And that one cabinet with spaghetti wires doesn't inspire trust in the build quality. Love the huge bed but I know a zillion vanlifers and all but one of them always leave the bed down. My fixed bed enables the water tank and batteries to be above the floor and I still have more under-bed storage space than this one. I like the skylight but two Maxxair fans are more practical for airflow, especially on a rainy day when you can't open the windows. I don't understand the RV manufacturer obsession with televisions. Vanlifers just use our other devices, like tablets. I drive the same Ram and love it. Zero blind spots and it's been super reliable. Plus any mechanic can work on it. The lower price of gas right now vs diesel is a bit of a bonus. Lastly, forget any of these vans being stealth or incognito. Those days are over. Police can easily spot the stuff on your roof, the awning, bike rack, hookup connections, antenna, etc.

100 amp hours is rock bottom minimum. You won’t be doing much while boondocking more than a couple of hours. The 3000 watt inverter is hilarious teamed with 100 amp battery. It is the equivalent of putting a firehouse tap on a beer keg.

Not my cup of tea. It is missing too many little things that would make it nice... from a flip-counter extension, to proper day/privacy shades on the windows... and so on. At that price point, it should be included, like soft close hinges on all drawers/cabinets.

I actually had this motorhome and it was way too tight for me. Nowhere to dress. The dinette seat was not supported on the end so it was difficult to sit there without feeling like you were falling off the seat. The bathroom is barely big enough to use the restroom. We never used the shower. Not enough storage for me. It was very easy to drive and got great gas mileage. We averaged 18 mpg. It seems ok empty but when you load it it gets cramped pretty quick.

Great van for traveling… nice size and good layout… those that are knocking it shouldn’t be considering a class B … cassette toilets are great because you can empty them anywhere like rest stop/truck stop bathrooms and don’t need a dedicated RVs dump station (just for your info there are no porcelain cassette toilets so your complaining about it is ridiculous-maybe research products before you complain about them) … the only real issue I have with this RV is the cabinets need to be locking if you are putting anything in them or the doors will get pushed open - ask me how I know lol) - I travel almost 6-7 months in a class B van (I’m 6’2 and 275lbs) with no issues- if you goal is to sell RVs then maybe try to hide your dislike for vans … it’s very unprofessional and I would suggest that maybe you realize that… Lastly I’ve been watching you for years and your audio has always been an issue-outdoors in any kind of wind you are very hard to hear and inside the RVs you often turn away from the camera and your voice is so low that way… maybe invest in a wireless rose mic to record your sound… this is not a new issue and makes your videos less enjoyable
