The second sale, fantastic! Wish I was there! A “ jardinere” is used as a centerpiece on a table. it is normally used for flower arrangements, and does it often’s have a glass insert. The form is usually oval. At least in Europe. 😊

I used to buy and sell on ebay years ago, mostly vintage dolls and other things. Wanting to get back to it again and this is very helpful! Great channel!

Another use for the brass copper container with the lion, is a walking stick or an umbrella stand, hope that helps with your comps. Yall did awesome

12:10 minutes in - the Mary Kay bag. It was a gift with purchase about 7-9 years ago. I've been a full on working consultant since 2000. 42:29 minutes in with Home Interiors design frames. Home Interiors opened its doors in 1957. She was very good from friends with Mary Kay Ash. 48:28 minutes in - we have a napkin holder like the one you picked up. We also have the Givins (Sp?) cooking books listed - we've sold a couple but they are longer tail - I've gotten $30-$40 each.

At the first rummage sale, you picked up a small oval gold tone frame that you said had weird glass was actually bubble glaas. They had the glass in the wrong side up to protect the bubble.

I have yet to visit an estate sale. But when you're surrounded by endless cool stuff, I imagine it would be hard to be selective and not pick up everything. Looks so overwhelming 😂

Most of what you got in the sale I have in my eBay store but just not selling. I'm guessing Australians are just going through tough times financially to buy as I don't think mine are listed too high, about half your sold prices.🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀

I heard you mention you might want to take the glass out of the picture frame before shipping. I use washi tape and make an x shape across flat glass pieces and I’ve never had a break or complaint.
