Not even just Moria. The Straw Hats were specifically warned to stay away from the Cesstial Dragons, and Luffy went and punched one. Yeah, Charloss totally deserved it. But in the end, it wasn't worth what it cost. Luffy finally pressed the wrong button and his luck ran out.

Same, when one piece went off the air in the usa back in 2006. I looked up the last episode of one piece, and found a clip called the last days of the strawhat. During this time I was in skypia arc. I was surprised to see how much the crew has changed. Luffy learned a new move, chopper changed, franky and brook came along. I actually cried when I first discovered that.

I have a theory why Kizaru speaks so slow. If he just speak normally, I think he will speak at the speed of light and no one will understand. So he had to control how he speak, and ended up talking too slow.

You guys know what is bonkers? Brook basically missed the whole Roger era. He was a pirate long before Roger even became a pirate. So for Brook personally, Roger is really just a famous pirate dude who left behind a treasure that his captain wants. Not a legendary icon like he is for everyone else. In fact before Roger there weren't even a concept of Pirate Kings, so for Brook it's all new stuff he is learning about. Every time I remember that... Bonkers. Also Franky met Gol D Roger and was apprenticed to a guy who built his ship. So Franky and whoever his pirate parents were, were ALSO pre age of concept of Pirate Kings. I mean we hear about Roger being a legend and everything he has done but his whole piracy career was actually pretty recent and lasted very few years. Yet he single handedly created a title that no one really held before as far as we know, a title every pirate wants.

Well just to clarify some things about last chapter xd: 1. The navy is under the world government control, and so are the sichibukai, so the navy technically can't order them nothing, it has to be the WG. 2. When Kuma arrived to Thriller Bark, he didn't say he was there to kill Luffy, he said he was there to take/kidnap him. Only after Zoro asked for Luffy's place he decided to place Luffy's pain in Zoro, but he really didn't kidnap Zoro so he left Thriller Bark empty handed bc he couldn't get Luffy. Now what you want to question yourselves is why did he want to kidnap Luffy? It's the same answer as why did he erase them all now. Just remember Thriller Bark was right after Water 7 (this is important xd).

idk if y'all got it in the future episodes, but basically the government requests for strong people/pirates to fight for them against other pirates or basically anyone opposing the government with the offer of not hunting them down. Pirates/those that accept the offer are called Warlords & there's only 7 positions. Basically, the warlords can commit any form of atrocity and the gov will not bat an eye as long as they do their dirty deeds for them. This is why some pirates like Crocodile join the warlords; so they can do anything (ie take over a country) w/o the gov & marines hindering them! The seven Warlords are part of the three great powers (basically an equilibrium to balance the good & evil in the world, and maintain peace): -seven warlords (ppl like moria, crocodile that work for the government for their own benefits) -four emperors (four pirates that rule the second half of the grand line-the new world, as if they're emperors. Basically the top 4 strongest pirates) -marines (official armed justice over the seas, under control of the world government)

in answer to your question about the bible that kuma carries. a lot of characters in the story are based on real world historical figures. persumably, kuma is based on the 18th century pirates barthalomew roberts, aka "black bart". roberts was considered one of the most successful pirates in history but he was a man who was forced into the life of piracy. two things to note about him. 1) roberts never drank booze. he was a notorious teatotaller. 2) he was a devout christian. according to legend, he would hold Sunday mass aboard his ship. so the bible is more than likely a homage to the pirate kuma is named for.
