Jay, I'm making a 2 minute video that shows how to do a physics charged particles problem with a spreadsheet. This video is a good example problem for me to use. Can I use 2 screenshots (problem layout and answer) of this video in my video? Thanks, Arthur Hebert.

Yes. Please include in your screen shots my KZbin channel name either by saying it or by writing. Thanks for asking and best of luck.

Do you have an example if it is a parallelogram and not a rectangle?
@jaynawa59052 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I don't at this time. Parallelograms will be more challenging at this level. More trigonometry at the beginning and more vector analysis at the end. It also depends on how much info you have about the dimensions of the parallelogram, so each problem will be a bit different. Sorry I couldn't be much of a help at this time.

Excuse me Sir, what can I do if, in a rectangle ABCD, form by 4 charges like your example I need to find the value of one of the charges. The other charges, and the distance between them are gave.
@jaynawa59053 жыл бұрын
Hi Vincent. I am assuming you also know the force (or not force). If so, your solution should begin where mine in the view ends, then trace back all the way till you find the value of the unknown charge. This will not be a simple thing to do, it will require some algebra.
@vincentjoserivasferrer87323 жыл бұрын
@@jaynawa5905 Thanks for answering me, in fact I don't know the force nor lacking of it. In that case my problem can still be solve ?
@jaynawa59053 жыл бұрын
@@vincentjoserivasferrer8732 That will be difficult to tell. But most likely not. You will need to know the force (or net force).

Sir please give me fast reply ...you put the value of r 0.05 which is false the value of r should be the squre root of 0.05 am i right??
@jaynawa59053 жыл бұрын
r squared = .05 m squared, and that's what you need to plugin for Coulomb's law in F14, so this is correct. That being said, I missed squaring the unit in the graph (hypotenuse squared), the unit should be m squared, not m only.

Yes sir, Let a square ABCD sides 2m, 4m resp. Find the force on the charge placed at D point. Sir this question is based on vector law of coulomb law
@jaynawa59053 жыл бұрын
@@SatyamKumar-yz6vd If I understand your question correctly, here is what I will do, please go to min10:00 in the video. Then write forces in terms of unit vector notation. F14 = 4.83 i -2.4 j, F24 = 15.5 j, and finally F34 = 7.86 i (where i and j are unit vectors. Add all these vectors algebraically, the result will be your Net force in vector form. Use Pythagorean Theorem to find the magnitude and tan theta inverse to find the angle. I hope this helps.
