New chief necessary for accountability and hope of new transparency. Are you tired yet? It’s not going away. There is an abundance of evidence of wrong behavior and civil Liberty violations by DPD. Bringing in a change maker reduces future liabilities (too late for previous acts), calms constituents, reduces redundancy of meetings due to inaction, and more importantly-is the correct approach and moral solution to wrongdoing.

You bring up some good points. I have been asking the community some questions and having open dioluge to promote the free flow of communication and ideas. What do you think is the best wat to solve the issue we see occurring in the city and at the city council?

@@JustinWAL19 I’m very interested in what your feedback has been and topics discussed within community. I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking me. The public meetings are the public meetings. Free speech should always be allowed and protected during public meetings, in my opinion. I mean that’s after all the very first one, so in my mind those five freedoms protected by the first amendment are of upmost importance for us. I watch the meetings. The public comments continue to ask, reasonably so I think, for change. I do see 4 out of 5 Council members that seem unwilling to initiate a change. I have not heard, at council meetings, other citizens making public comments asking for status quo. That would be an appropriate forum to do so. I’ve not heard reasons to continue with current administration, or answers to troubling DPD incidents that have been asked by commenters. I know many city council meetings operate with police chief present and interacting with citizens. I would think communication, publicly addressing and sharing issues/solutions would be a top priority. A diverse, robust, and active community & policing committee with goals and objective driven outcomes would provide transparency as well.

Girl has annoyed them into silence. They're done being preached to. She sure does like to hear herself talk.
