Council-Manager: Bainbridge, Washington

In May, ICMA form of government staff worked with a citizens' group in Bainbridge Island, WA during its bid to adopt the council-manager form of government. The group, VoteCM'09, created an animated video encouraging residents to vote for the council-manager form of government (CM) by describing the differences between it and mayor-council (the other predominant form of local government). Voting residents successfully adopted CM with 71% of the residents voting approving the change.
