Can't stand the Rory Kinnear character almost ruined the series for me. Any pretence at comedy BBC TV had died years ago. The character was so big it transcended this series but compare this to the radio shows - they were outstanding.

Shame the RADIO version didn't transfer to tv. This is awful. Kinnear did not inherit any of his Dad's comedy timing and the writer should have lived off his Father Ted residuals.
