The story that goes with this song is interesting. A song composed by Neal Hefti. Count Basie apparently called Hefti and asked if he could play the song slowed down. Hefti was okay with it and that's what we got that the world has heard and come to love. Funny how things get started..

Wow- Bob Ojeda (solo muted trumpet) is actually playing an Olds Ambassador! In the Olds line, the Ambassador was the least expensive, beginner student model, though highly regarded today.
