Sir, but according to the Oxford junior English grammar written by rk sinha . There are five type of noun: 1. Proper noun 2. Common noun 3. Collective noun 4. Material noun 5. Abstract noun He further say that it is traditional way. In modern English grammar, he Comment that nouns are divided into three categories: 1. Proper noun 2. Common noun +Collective noun=countable 3. Material noun+ Abstract noun=uncountable noun So on which you have classify nouns in following categories.
