The countdown timer in JavaScript works and announces result when active on the timer tab but when I switch to another tab while the timer is running, it starts from 59:59 and does not announce result. What am I doing wrong? help me out please.

I typed the code exactly like that but it doesnt work, it doesnt countdown numbers, i put the html file and javascript file in the same folder but it doesnt work, i saved them separetely

try to remove the function inside the start function. there's a double function there.
