I've seen better shoulders on an 80 year old woman. Shoulders only look good if they are toned with regular exercise like swimming or working with weights. Marilyn Monroe used to work with weights to tone her arms, shoulders and back which is one reason she looked great in evening gowns.

The things she wore as "maternity wear" were some of the most awful choices of all. I don't understand the fashion fad of wearing the tightest clothing you could possibly squeeze into as maternity clothing. To me, it looks cheap, tacky, and extremely sleazy. Not to mention extremely uncomfortable. There's nothing "sexy" about a big, bulging pregnant belly on display. Proper maternity clothing actually makes you look adorable.

I think that is because she actually is/was. Overall she has a nice trim figure, but her legs are skinny to the point of looking wasted below the knee. Any weight she does carry appears to be on her torso, so the muffin top look can also come into play. When her style choices display both these body types at the same time, she just looks a bit wrong. What astounds me is that prior to her marriage there are photos of her looking good. Even very good. I presume that she had a stylist at the time (Jessica?) and I think she needs to hire another one.

It's the bare legs that went with the t-shirt dress (and every other outfit) that I find tacky. Members of the RF can't always dress to suit themselves but have to be mindful of two things; 1) that they are representatives of the UK, and also the UK's / Commonwealth's Head of State (i.e. the Queen/King). 2) that the populations of both the UK and the Commonwealth are diverse and when they're undertaking engagements, royals have to be careful that their fashion choices don't cause others any embarrassment/discomfort. This was pretty much what the First Lady of Nigeria seemed to be saying about showing too much flesh. Bare legs would make some communities feel anything from mild discomfort to possibly insulted. No one was asking Markle to wear tights every day of the week - just the odd few hours when she was 'on duty'.

I'll turn 70 in a couple of weeks. In the peri-menopausal decade (40s), women's hair does thin quite a bit due to hormonal changes. It really freaked me out in my late 40s to early 50s, but then it just stopped when I was in full menopause and has been stable ever since. Maybe if I took hormone replacement it would have been less, but I'm not sure about that. MM is definitely peri-menopausal; I wonder what she'll do about her hot flashes!

The bird shit dress that she wore for the Oprah interview and the ginormous beige caftan definitely deserve honorable mention. The bird shit dress was not only grim and unflattering, her eye makeup was over-the-top. The heavy kohl black circling her eyes looked like the old cartoon joke of putting black ink on binoculars; definitely not a fashion goal. The caftan was ridiculously expensive, too long and a most unflattering color. Maternity dressing is a new challenge but there are so many options, even for the 9th month, that can be professional or glamorous. This was not an example.

That is why she wore the straight jacket to the online bullying event in New York. Harry’s wife wanted people to comment on her instead the bereaved families. One that absolutely should have been included was the dress she wore to a visit to the Royal Variety Charity home for retired actors, around Christmas of 2018. It was winter, and she wore a skimpy, short-sleeved white dress with a pattern. Also, she was sausaging out of it like crazy. She was about halfway through her pregnancy with Archie, and it was so obviously not a maternity dress. It didn’t fit her, it wasn’t appropriate for either the season or the venue, and she looked like a crazy person who just grabbed the first thing she found in a lost-and-found bin at a community theater. I really do think it ranks among the top ten worst things she’s ever worn!

I agree that everything on this list is terrible, however I would say there are other looks that were maybe worse than the white twisted top, the beige dress and the black dress. I would have put the Sandringham beige outfit with the turd hat in number 2. I would have put all of the big beige high waisted pants in a number 3 spot. I also seriously hated the purple dress with the red wrap coat that she wore because it was such a heinous combination and it was trying to copy Diana. Also when she wore ripped jeans to the invictus games when she was engaged and stepping out with Harry for the first time because it was so unprofessional and a sign of what was to come. Hello Beebs! I want to say Thank You so much for your tutorials on dressing for body types! Because of you I felt AMAZING at our son's wedding. I have an hourglass figure with a thicker booty so I wore a blue dress that matched my eyes, with lace appliques on top to draw the eye up, three quarters length sleeves that hiy at my waist, and a flowing full length bottom. The inspiration was Princess Catherine's dress to the royal wedding in Jordan. I don't look like her at all (who does LOL) but I felt absolutely amazing and beautiful! Thank you again for all you do! I truely appreciate you and your work ❤
