CS2 is an Esport title tho, they tone many things down in term of graphics to make it runs smooth on low end PCs, things like water effect was never their first priority.

Case study for how important materials and lighting are. The textures, models, and animations are still pretty average in raw quality, but the image looks so much better. The special effects and physics are rgreat even compared to modern standards.

Some things look crazy good but then it sort of looks trash, like the glass looks great for a second and then when it falls it looks trash. Shooting the TV looks trash, explosions in water look trash..

I actually like the graphics in Counter-Strike 2, it's very clean and runs well

Put too much unuseful effects like Bloom, Lens flare, HDR, motion blur, character's FOV are like 200 by the standard of 90 doesn't mean it looks great, Lmfao. Also that game (The finals, like many of Unreal projects) has really bad optimization, the world looks shinny but feels bland and unaesthetic (also like many Unreal projects). CS is an Esport game, the map should be clean, they tone many things down in term of graphics to make it runs great on low end PCs. And i played a lot of good graphics games.
