I played this when I was younger cuz I had a shit PC and was apart of the "competitive" community, so I've followed the games transitions. This one isn't by the original devs, they did however release a new version that played the same, but it isn't up at the moment, and hasn't been for quite some time. Multiple groups have launched their own version with the source code of the original remaster I believe, but I believe the one by EVOLVe is the group that's all former known community members.

here's a heads up. The counter blox you played back then was very bad but it was still the original, 2019(i believe) game got revamped and it stayed like that until some dev from the team leaked the source code. The dev team had to close the game and rewrite everything inside the game. sooo game is being remade from zero. In the meantime fans decided to make modded versions of the game that pissed of the original CB dev team, taking down CB:R (what you played) around 3 times and giving up beacuse the owners would just reupload the game. After that a new competitor joined: CB:RE. Some time later(closer to the present) both games get raided along with their discord servers by eeed and some other CB:R devs that were getting "underpaid". They rided both games along with their discord servers and copy pasted assets from both game.

So the reason why the first two games didnt seem too different is because the original "counter blox" source code got leaked apparently and everyone started making duplicate/clones of their own version and people actually do cheat occasionally on them. The original CB is temporarily down.

There used to be "counted blox Roblox offencive" and the code got leaked, the creator had to delete the original to prevent cheat creation and people used the code to make copies of the original Roblox game, counter blox remastered is the only one trying to maintain the original Roblox copy with decent orgininal anticheat
