I think it will be a while. DZ was the most complex game mode played on official MM. Others like ScoutsKnives and Stab Stab Zap and Vampire are already in the games files, and work almost perfectly with just changing a few config files and server variables. So, I'd say most likely those will be added relatively soon. Possibly as soon as February like you said, with the next big update.

I didn't like Danger Zone when it first came out but in its absence it feels like CS2 is missing a whole chunk of itself. If they don't bring it back they should add something else that plays on bigger scale like DZ. Hopefully they don't just jump on the extraction shooter bandwagon.

I used to be on ur side, till me and my buddy duo'd DZ till we hit black ranks, CS movement + gunplay on giant maps becomes insanely fun once you get the meta(s) - Makes you use guns u never would but makes u understand when to use them. Its a "break" from the monotony of CS's cycle. Plus, warzone sucks, pubg sucks, fortnite sucks.... the market is SO open for a good BR... bring back DZ...

i got an issue when opening cs 2 with 1280-720 my whole monitor turns into 1280-720 monitor and after alttabbing cs it comes normally

oh that will never be fixed, also the game losing 20% performance after the first alt tab and some other technical issues, another one is when you click a link to inspect a skin, it wont work the first time, you have to press it multiple times and open the game for it to process, just some great features that are hardcoded with dogshit2, that they will never fix because they cant and also dont give a fuck

Not a great take imo about DZ or other game modes needing to wait for all the bugs to be fixed and VAC to banish the cheaters. There has never been a time in the history of CS when there was not cheaters. Cheaters and anti-cheat are like the old Spy vs Spy comics, locked in an eternal battle of one-ups-man ship and escalation. You might win the battle, but the war? The war never changes. Valve shouldn't give up, but if you put content like game modes on the back burner till the cheaters are gone the game will die as people get bored of just playing the same 3 game modes. In fact, the other thing that was around since the days of the Counter Strike beta 25 years ago: diverse game modes and community driven content. "If you wanna play Battle Royale go play Fortnight"?? How about no. I'm not 12. BR started as mods and secondary game modes in almost every game that has one (including Fortnight), and IMO CSGO did it best. Its just a silly assertion, it would be like saying "if you like COD Search and Destroy you should just play Counter Strike". Like, maybe some people prefer the way COD did it even if CS invented it. Also, one of the touted benefits of Source 2 was that it was going to allow Valve more freedom in making things like DZ work well. The Source engine was 20 years old and whenever they tried to fix or add something it just caved in on itself.

bs player count is all bots not players! if u search a game there are the numbers searching... and the numbers are very low all time during the day.. 2 years ago if u search a game u had around 12000 to 14000 people queue at all time now u hae 2 to 3000 queues !
