Here I am, finally covering Counterattack! I think this one has been requested on every single Xenoblade cover I did. I love this song so much, it's so intense to hear/watch in-game so... I had to do it!
A crazy amount of work has been put into this one. The song is nearly five minutes long and every single thing you hear in the background has been played or programmed by me using nothing but my ear..! It was a lot of work and got me very tight on schedule but I'm very glad I finally did this beast of a song!!

At first I thought of this song as an "Engage the enemy clone" and didn't like it that much but then Mythra showed up and started blowing shit up in other words the song really grew on me

Oh Mythra always comes to mind with this song even though "Counterattack" plays multiple times before and after that scene. Basically Mythra's introduction and the scene about obtaining "Coffee with Milk" is what my head always goes to when I hear this song.

Thats the point of the song is to be a parallel to Engage The Enemy, since both stories are meant to be tied together. A lot of the songs in this game are like that.

Holy crap you managed to make an arrangement as good as the original. This is very hard as the original is already perfect, so it's hard to keep the essence of it while arrange it. But you managed to keep that essence, which makes your arrangement outstanding ! I particularly enjoy the bass here. Keep up the great work !
