Even the best can be fooled. Great customer service with quick action. Nice. Sounds like a happy ending. I can't imagine the heart sinking feeling you must've had when you opened the package from the grader. Hoping that all will turn out well, and your nerves didn't take too big of a hit. That’s messed up that the dealer couldn’t identify it as a fake. With all the instruments and technology we have nowadays that’s just unacceptable that this happened. And I guarantee you’re not the first to fall victim to them.

Good resolution. Did you get your money back from PCGS? I'm trying to figure out what gives it away as a fake quarter eagle.

No PCGS did not refund nor would I expect a refund; they had no part in the coin being a counterfeit and provided the cost worthy service of identifying it as a fake :)
