Great video, didn't know axemen were so good at defending, I thought they were bad in against other troops due to their low armour, I have only used them to attack

They´re bad against spearmen and archers which are pretty standard units in every match, so often attacking with just axemen is not great. However if you have a teammate with european spearmen who takes care of the enemy spearmen like I had in this match then you can achieve a lot with not that many ressources invested even.

How to counter french bombers and apc with either Britain or Turkey. Since all my friend does is nothing untill he reaches ir2 then he bombs the living hell out of me then rushes me with super many french apc’s

With Turkey you need light cannons against the APCs and with Britain you need Anti-Tank Rifles. if You have 20 anti-tank rifles at the front and 20 at your base, you should be fine. Turkey Light Cannon spam should be easy.

also with turkey you can build snipers together with light cannons in IR1 already, to counter bombers and APCs. Just push, nothing france can do against it as long as you split the light cannons a bit. with britain you can do LMGs/SMGs for anti-air

@@SolomonRaz That is what I tried to today. He had so many APCs today and two days ago It was hard to stop him. Also when he saw me with anti tank gunners he bombed them. The same with my light cannons today. I was also kinda not ready for alot of stuff since he just bullies me when hes in ir since he basically speedruns ir and does not really attack me early game.

I usually go 10-20 pikemen and rest landsknecht to counter other infantry

probably not a bad idea when you play alone in 1v1 or FFA. But in Team-Match I think it´s smarter to split the tasks with a friend, so he can get piercing damage upgrades on his pikemen and you can get cutting damage upgrde on your axemen. Not get more upgrades than you need and still everybody has fully upgraded units. (So your friend recruits only pikemen and you recruit only Landsknecht)

Axemen guys are still amazing, and that's after a bunch of consecutive nerfs they received, they had super ninja speed before.

Yeah, good old times, lol. But now they´re in a good position where they can defend well and attack unprepared enemies. Archers and Spearmen counter them easily so they´re really far from OP.

Hey man im new to this game , i am transformed from bronze age to iron age but i didnt haved the option in the right upper corner to upgrade my Warriors, Houses , and other?

hey, yeah the thing is. There are 3 ages where You can upgrade everything. Bronze Age, Early Medieval and First Industrial Revolution. There are 6 ages after stoneage but always 2 of them form a kind of era together in which the houses and workers don´t need upgrades. So there´s bronze and iron age (ancient era), early and late medieval age (medieval era) and first and second industrial revoltuion (industrial era) together with stoneage there are 7 ages and only three of them allow upgrading houses, units, etc.

Kriegselefanten lohnen sich wenn der Gegner nicht lauter Bogenschützen und Armbrüste spammt, aber selbst dann kannst du sie mit Sipakhs bzw. Mamluks unterstützen. Kriegselefanten sind ein bisschen overkill, weil du mit ihnen eine feindliche Basis in Sekunden dem Erdboden gleich machst. Habe dazu auch gutes Videomateriel, lade ich demnächst mal hoch. Armbrustschützen (Europa) lohnen sich wenn du siehst, dass der Gegner Legionäre/Squads/Landsknechte/Light Knights/Heavy Knights baut. Alles mit viel Rüstung, teilweise untersützen sie mit ihrem hohen Schaden sogar noch gegen Mounted Guardsmen also eine gute defensive Einheit. Nervige Schüler nerven mich nur, wenn sie darauf drängen mit mir zu spielen und im Spiel dann nur farmville spielen :D Fragen stellen darfst du hier gerne ohne Ende.

Awesome counter to Landsknecht but if the opponent has got some spearmens, then would you suggest building some longbows as well?

I don´t know about that... Longbows can deal some damage against spearmen but if the spearmen come close the longbows get destroyed by them. I would just recommend it like in this game. Some teammate with European Spearmen is awesome. If You don´t have a teammate I´d recommend building some towers around your base as spearmen are pretty bad at destroying them, especially if you position the towers well and close together.

There´s no best country. Every country is good in their own way. You have to pick a playstyle that you enjoy and then I can tell You what countries are good for that. Overall I recommend Turkey and Russia to new players, as they are all-rounders and easy to play.

Bronze Age Workers with Iron Age farm upgrade gather food at 1.5 ratio. Western European Medieval Workers gather only at 1.4. So I keep some bronze age workers until IR for better food income.
