Did a double take when I realized who this was. Translating The Name has been in my top 5 favorite albums of all time. Saw Saosin like 10+ times in my life, all the way back with Anthony in 2003 and with Cove quite a few times. You guys pretty much got me into music. As for Kyle, Counterparts has been a more recent obsession. Caught you guys with Emmure in Pittsburgh last year, picked up a vinyl copy of YNYA. Man, two of my favorite drummers in one comment section.

harry_sandusky what do you think of you're not you anymore? I didn't catch on until tragedy will find us.. But this album rocks and it will always hit home to me cause of the shit i was dealing with when it came out. Love this band. They're playing in Boston with Emmure 5-12
@metalcoredweeb6 жыл бұрын
William Hamill as of now i think i like Tragedy more than YNYA (but i still love YNYA) but I said the same thing about TDBHH when Tragedy first came out so it’ll probably continue to grow on me even more. lyrically i think i like Tragedy more but I think the songs/ album tie in together much more on YNYA especially in the music video for the song YNYA i think we see that. Tragedy just seemed like a lot of different miserable songs but they didn’t attempt to work together towards anything (not that they needed to). I think YNYA has more/better bangers but there is a song or two that i thought was a little weak and i didn’t see that on Tragedy. They’re both definitely 2 of my favorite albums but as of now i think Tragedy edges it out a little, but i’m sure that’ll change soon enough. I also like that the album is short because it’s not hard for someone to commit 27 minutes on an album and the sound doesn’t get old on that time because you’re not stuck listening to it for outrageous amounts of time. these are just my thoughts though

Kevo Gillespie Aaah, thanks so it's more like a "rideable" crash than, lol. That's a fat ass bell in that crash, but my AAX ones have massive bells too. That and the loud, long decay on it made me assume it was a ride. Do you know how they hold up? I have an A-custom China and its my favorite China I've ever heard, and I have a massive chunk missing out of my 18'inch Aax, and its crack around the bell :(.
