If the story had been different and if it had just been knight suit on knight suit I'd agree with their movement. But if you look at the story then their movement becomes somewhat symbolic. The stoic solemn match of the honorable towards destiny vs the implacable advance of sin and degradation. All while the rest of the world swirls about swiftly beneath them both. Faster but uktimarkey still beneath what truly matters. Or something like that.

Throughout thousand of years, us people, our ancestors brought invention and art from a lesser and more base form to an ever refined, accumulated form. They worshipped plays, and had paintings like the Mona Lisa and the lessons we took from that. Now, at this very moment we live in a world where every single scene in a movie, every single fucking frame is beyond the capacity of what billions of people had throughout history... Every frame here represents a most glorious art, like a davinci painting, a mona lisa painting. A castle, a theatre, a story... We fucking have it all... And even today, as we live in this gross wealth, billions of other people do not have access to this technology. To this stories and moving paintings that are just...beyond anything that's ever been. That's why I am extra grateful for it. I just cannot take it for granted and it is worthy of a million praises and more. Simply astonishing.

I have to say, that knight-armor doesn't look much thicker than a tank from today. One would think the knights would be clad in armor. Also, @ 16:40 we can see a single shot from whatever weapon it is, easily punch a huge hole clean through a knight and kill it, so why doesn't a majority of knights carry this armament which would render them able to take out a vast majority of enemies at range and not risk melee ?. If you can engage your enemies in an open field, artillery or hardhitting ranged weapons are clearly better than knives.

CounterPoints either forgotten or ignored the 2 largest known Knight Classes, the Cerastus and Acastus. The Cerastus has 4 main variants: the Acheron which is armed with a massive and powerful Flamer on one arm and a large Chainfist with in-built Heavy Bolters on the other, the Lancer which is equipped with a long&powerful shock lance on one arm and an ion gauntlet shield on the other(there's one depicted on some of the tapestries in the Broken Lance Animation), the Castigator which has a Bolt Cannon on one arm and a Tempest Warblade which is as long as a SpaceMarines Rhino APC and lastly the Atrapos which is armed with an extremely large&high quality LasCutter reminiscent of the modified Mining Laser that the famous Questoris Class Canis Rex has and a massive, exotic and brutal Graviton Singularity Cannon. The Acastus Class has 2 known variants, both of which have extremely long-range weapons powerful enough to consistently destroy multiple SuperHeavy Tanks or cripple an unshielded Battle Titan with a well placed vollley. The Acastus Class is also nearly as tall as a Warhound Scout Titan, and appears to have more thorough Armour Plating but is significantly slower and doesn't have any Void Shields. The Acastus Porphyrion is armed with 2 sets of twin-linked Magna LasCannons, each individual one is almost as large as a Volcano Cannon...and it has 4 of them, 2 per Arm. It also has a massive Missile Launcher System usually equipped with Ironstorm Missiles or Anti-Air Warheads, and it can have 2 AutoCannons or 2 LasCannons, one on either side of its head. The Acastus Asterius has 2 sets of twin-linked Heavy Conversion Beam Cannons, which shoot out concentrated beams of antimatter. For secondary armaments it has a very large Missile Launcher System built into the Carapace that can fire the same Rad Warheads that the Mechanicums Karacnos Mortars used, aswell as having 2 Volkite Culverins[one mounted on either side of its head]. The Acastus Class and Cerastus Class Knights were very rare even during the Great Crusade, and as such most of the surviving Warsuits were placed deep inside the stasis vaults of the Knight Households that still had any after the apocalyptic battles of the Horus Heresy and The Scouring, and very few of those Warsuits survived into M42. So whenever they are seen in Battle, it is guaranteed that whomever deployed them is very desperate.

@@ironduke5058 nah not them I mean everyone else in court. Like the lady and the former king went out together, she comes back telling everyone the king was killed by a beast with a giant melta burn threw the chassis of the knight, but no one asks questions so she just became queen. And then this chick stabs the queen, goes out tells everyone that she's dead and NO ONE asks how she died. It's like they are just shrugged their shoulders and said "fuck it, w/e"
@ironduke50588 ай бұрын
@@redrumssam5888 Yea that too. I was expecting her to kill him in some kind of elaborate or interesting way to make it seem like a beast did it but nah, straight melta through the back lmao

if canonicaly a knight is this slow comper to normal movments then haw slow is a emperor clas titan?

So, from what I understand, the curse is carried by bloodline. Weird take then. Adopt a candidate from outside the house and do not have a biological descendant. While it would result in the original bloodline dying out, it would not leave the world without defenders. Seeing as it is a curse carried in the Blood

I mean I like the lore and all, but the animation seemed clunky and rushed. After pariah nexus I expected more.

This is from the team who did Exodite. Beautiful models but it does lack a certain fluidity. I know how hard animation is though so I only expect Pariah Nexus level projects once or twice a year considering how long it takes to get them right. Angels of Death and Exodite tier stuff I would like to see more often even if its a bit janky.

Agreed, I just want Warhammer to be the best it can be and would prefer fewer exquisite releases over a greater number, but less than exemplary. Quality over quantity...thats just my 2 cents, i know others may disagree.

Anyone else notice that they used the same female techpriest model that was seen in the Blood Angels series? I feel a little cheaped out tbh

Im shocked GW would let such a detailed breakdown of the video stand. Happy they have thought.

Long time viewer. I absolutely love your reviews and breakdowns. There are a number of music videos as a backdrop to Warhammer 40K (Thunderstruck, Welcome to the Jungle, etc). I am curious on how you would review these?

Brilliant breakdown as always, thank you! Such a shame on the amination side, though. I was really hoping for some "oomph" with this short but nahhh

It seems to me that the god we all know, like you says at 20:00, did exist inb the 40k univers. But i remenber that the emperor maked all religions dissapear before the great crusade. I even remender the part when he has to kill the last "priest". But not shure of all that of course, didn't read any books, just watching video of 40k.

Thanks for the glimpse! Reinforces why Im probably never going to sub for Warhammer+. This animation has too much screen shaking. Also no effects with the chainsword or powerfist, gatling cannons not rotating. It's obvious the people who animate this aren't great. Although it would be good for a fan animation, as a monthly sub payment to a company, not great and not worth.

Im confused, I thought her father ( the old king) was fucking melted by the now queen? I mean no human would have any body part left after being blasted full on by that thermal spear or whatever its called? Also didn't the Titan have its chest blown open? How does nurgle fix a titan like that
