Counterprotest remains peaceful as pro-Israel group marches near encampment on UW campus

There seemed to be no physical violence as a pro-Israel counterprotest on the University of Washington campus marched near the pro-Palestinian encampment at the Quad Sunday afternoon.
The pro-Palestinian encampment has been at the Quad since late April. The number of tents has grown since then and the demonstration has become larger.
University officials placed barricades around the Quad in order to dissuade opposing groups from engaging with one another.

They have long had the goal of disguising themselves in large protesting crowds and then using group psychology tactics to attempt to start riots. They has some success with this during the APEC and WTO riots in Seattle in the 90's. They were often frustrated by the fact that the mob psychology tactics they use can be spoiled by mockery. People that are seeing a situation as absurd or are receiving contradictory information don't tend to react in the way they require. (i.e. A "spontanious" surge forward by carefully placed and coordinated provocateurs can cause a surge by the normies all around them. Unless those normies are otherwise engaged. Say like by talking to or arguing with other people not directly attached to the mob.Then their carefully planned surge only amounts to them running forward, much to their embarrassment. (and potential ass whipping and arrest) This is why the umbrellas and physical body blocking are used to try to keep "their" people separated and not talking to anyone else, especially not counter protesters. Anything that breaks the mob mentality really screws with them. Vehement argument works every bit as well as intellectual point/counterpoint discussion. Here is a good general rule. Anyone who is trying to keep you away from external contact or keep information away from you does not have your best interest's in mind. This is true no matter who is doing it. Police officers, governments, Pseudo-paramilitary wannabe protesters, your own Grandma, anyone.

Meh, we are making as much on Israel as we are spending. Plus we have full access to all their interceptor data which is a big part of the reason we have such good anti missile defenses. Most of those foreign aide "loans" we send them actually make us money. That is a quality we Americans and Jews share. We make sure we get ours in business arrangements. Though I too am annoyed by the overuse and misuse of the word antisemitic. Semites are a huge group of a lot more than just Hebrews. More than half of the people in the middle east are Semitics (including the Arabs).
