The 90's was the coolest decade in my life and I'm in my fifties. The best music, people were cooler, nicer and more respectful. Life wasnt cheap. As a woman, dudes were cooler and more respectful. No f#$** social media. I love Counting Crows. One of the great bands of that era. It reminds me of taking pictures on my daughters high school prom night. Miss those days terribly ..Want to beam myself back. xoxo

Just got back from the concert three hours ago. 1) I miss the 90s so much, it's crazy. 2)They sounded sooo soooo good. I love them, his voice is actually getting better as time goes on. 3) I hope they know we all still love them. They sounded like perfection tonight.

What I loved about the 90s was the sheer diversity of the music. Lots of great, original female artists and so many great bands: Everclear, Counting Crows, RHCP, etc. everything had a distinct sound and it was all different. Now shit all sounds the same.

90s was the last great decade period. September 11 was the cusp in so many ways. It stripped the innocence of America's youth. And along with all the changes, it changed the music scene from creative mindful art to generic political hooplah.

I just listened to this song for about the 50th time, and focused in on the instruments for the first time. Not that I hadn't heard the instruments before, of course. But this time I really paid attention to the talent level. Every one of these guys jams! Not only that, but they do several different breakdowns where just two instruments hold it down for a moment, and every one of those segments works. Fantastic track! 😎👏👊🤘🕺🎯🎸🎹🥁🎼🎶🎵

I was born in '92, and I can tell you all that I was raised with a part of the 90's inside of me. Looking at music from the last 10 years, music has taken a leap off a cliff. You could fart in a mic now and get a platinum album, in my opinion. Bands like this are inspirational and uplifting.. They gave music more then just a beat, and know-nothing lyrics. They added meaning.

Growing up in small town Utah....I feel this. She sat right down on the sofa I said, "Where have you been? I've been waiting for you. 'Cause last night I had something so good These days get so long and I got nothing to do" I been hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town so long I been hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town for way too long We spend all day getting sober Just hiding from daylight Watching TV We just look a lot better in the blue light Well, you know I gotta get out But I'm stuck so tight Weighed by the chains that keep me... Hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town too long I been hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town for way too long And this girl listens to the band play She says "Where have you been? I've been lyin' right here on the floor" Well, I got all this time To be waiting for what is mine To be hating what I am After the light has faded Hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town so long I been hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town for way, way, way, way, way too long I Hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town too long I been hangin' around this town on the corner I been bummin' around this old town for way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long Way way, way, way, way too long

Just realized that this is pretty musically close to "Steal My Sunshine" and that explains a lot about why this is a sleeper favorite of mine.

That song is also great. Steal My Sunshine was built around a very short sample from “More, More, More” by Andrea True Connection. Very different, but another jam you might enjoy.

Easily one of the top songs that instantly brings me right back to the 90s and eveything so wonderful about that era! Adam and co. sure know how to pump real emotion and life into their music. Its hard not to deeply feel somethint while listening to Counting Crows. Bravo bravo boys, thanks for the great memories

Had no idea till just now Amy Smart was in this video. It’s nostalgic seeing her because she reminds me of the 1998-2004 period. I loved the movies she was in.

Song used to come on while riding the bus to school every morning. My bus was full of misfits and ne'er-do-wells, and we had a hell of a time. Lol.

When i was younger and my dad had a boat, everytime we went up to the lake we listened to CC, especially this song. Now it would seem unfit to play any other song while at the lake. Best lake song IMO
